☆After the short AMV, click to view concept sketches☆ I won first place :000 Hello! This is my animatic entry for the yandere computer character, whom I decided to name "Kioku"! The name will make more sense if you read the backstory I made for her below! -warning: it's very long- Name: Kioku Gender: Female Age: She doesn't age because she's a robot. Romantic Orientation: Lesbian Backstory: Kioku (which means "memory" in Japanese) is a computer-headed.. robot? Her real name is unknown. When she was about 15, she was good friends with Televisione (my french TV oc). They were around the same age, and both human at the time. One day, Kioku was crossing the street with her father. She saw Televisione (her real name is also unknown) on the other side, and started to run ahead of her father. The father was distracted on his phone. Down the street, a speeding technology company truck was headed their way, but they didn't notice. At the last second, Kioku's father stopped and looked up from his phone. Televisione and Kioku had met up in the street in front of him, and were both hit by the truck. The truck missed him by inches. Both girls were.. uh.. unalive, and the father freaked out. He discovered later the phone he had been so distracted on belonged to that company on the truck. Uh- a bunch of stuff happens and basically, both of the girls have some of their memories downloaded and transferred to a robot body. The father became the CEO of the technology company, and tried to save the souls of other people by putting their memories into other robots and keeping them in individual isolated rooms at the company's test labs. Other memories, like who the people actually were, were saved in a separate lab. Kioku and Televisione were the first test subjects for this experiment, and had rooms next to each other. They had no idea because they couldn't leave their rooms and the walls were soundproof, but one day Televisione played a remote controlled video game. The remote was an interactive electronic baseball bat, and she got mad and slammed it into a wall. The screens that were fake "windows" to outside glitched for a second, showing the scientists behind them. She freaked out and started breaking the wall with her bat. When a big enough hole was created, she saw Kioku on the other side and they somehow remembered who they used to be. Televisone used her bat and Kioku used her knife as weapons, and escaped the labs. It's a really weird backstory idea, I know, but I thought it was kinda cool and spent two weeks building it up in my head. This took a lot of motivation and time, even though it isn't finished.
☆ Unfortunately, I was not able to finish this, and this is only a quarter of what I had planned. It doesn't show any of the real story I wanted to put in it, but here's a brief explanation of what happens in it: ☆ -Kioku wakes up and unplugs a power cord she has (because she's a robot) -This other robot, who is actually a human scientist disguised as one (there's no power plug in the shoulder), tries to teach her baking and they're cutting strawberries. -Kioku accidentally slices her hand and panics, but she's made of metal so it doesn't do anything. (this was supposed to prove that she really had no idea she used to be a human or something, I don't know xD) -The fake robot guy picks up the strawberry slices and decorates a cupcake ☆ Creditos ☆ Me for the horrible animatic (made with Krita, 7 hrs?)
