Another DTAE to throw into the abyss :) Officially by third animation meme and I'm quite proud of it The run cycle in this is the first one I've ever made, and I'm honestly surprised that it turned out to be a decently smoothed loop. I like the split design, and upon seeing the dark grey and white mix I immediately knew how I would interpret the design. Meet Tsuin, the Representation of Balance. -Bio Tsuin//Male Likes- Peace, nature, silence, being alone Dislikes- Crowds, clingy people, chaos <Backstory> Tsuin opened his eyes to see nothing but an endless deep sea green surrounding him. He floated with no motion, listening to the sound of silence. From the corners of his vision he saw a strange figure. They were see through, as if they were a ghost. They're body looked like a blue tinted glass, with glowing edges and runes. Tsuin made no movements, instead of feeling afraid he felt calm. he figure continued to float across the void, it's cubic tail seemingly shape-shifting as they floated forward. "It is time," the words echoes in Tsuin's ears, a metallic, ancient waver gripping to the edge of each word. Even though the figure's mouth had not moved, in fact it appeared the figure didn't even have a mouth, Tsuin knew that the words had come from it. He stared at it as it approached, and stopped a small distance away from him. It's ancient power that held it a higher being seemed to reflect it it's strange eyes. The world he floated in began to fade, turning into a black. He could feel the space slipping away, away from his grasp. He felt the power of the being, slipping away with the strange world he had been floating within. Yet before he fully slipped away, back into unconsciousness he heard the words echo in his mind again. "It is time." The words then seemed to fray, as the being had been fully gone, and Tsuin pulled away from the vacant world. Tsuin woke in a cave. The dappled sunlight shone in, lighting the space near it's entrance. He padded out, letting the midday sun warm his fur. He felt strange yet at peace, the feeling of being pulled from the world he had came into being in was still tugging at his senses. He heard words echoing in his mind, yet instead of having the wavering, ancient edge of the being's voice, it as his own. For some reason his mind decided to repeatedly remind him of what he was. He was a Representation, in fact the very first. It felt strange to have the knowledge that he did, the corners of his mind bubbled with the answers he sought the second he woke in the world. They all had been given to him by his own mind. He walked on, and out of the trees that surrounded the cave he had woken in and into a flat landscape. Not far from the forest's edge, was a town. Buildings sat on each sides of each cobblestone street, with wagons being pulled down each. He walked into the bustling civilization, walking from the dirt path onto the cobblestone streets. He sighed as he watched the world go by, creatures chatting and enjoying their time, or pulling a wagon down the streets to carry more than the regular paws would. Yet Tsuin felt disconnected. He was never one of them, and never would be. He was no mortal, he was a being of higher power. He knew that mingling with them would do no harm, but he felt too unlike them. He padded into an alleyway, and disappeared while nobody was watching. He shook his fur once he had finished his teleportation. It was a small clearing, with a soft pond in the center. The trees surrounding the clearing seemed to close in, protecting the space from any unwanted visitors. Tsuin knew he shouldn't have to worry about mortals stumbling upon his space, he knew it was off of the planet of Serelia. he crouched down near the pool to look inside. His reflection was shattered as small ripples floated across it, even though no wind blew. His reflection was replaced by another image. He spotted a deep teal kitsune, and saw the ancient being standing beside her. Tsuin knew that the kitsune had been carefully chosen, and wouldn't be the last. Representations would be something that lasted for centuries, and Tsuin would always be the first. <--> I had a lot of fun with that story! I finally made a design I like for the ancient being, which is most commonly known as the Primal Overwatcher. In case you didn't put the puzzle pieces together, Tsuin is the Representation of Balance. He was the original and first Representation, being born/created in a strange plane. I guess if for some reason you want to learn more about representations, it's in the description of this: Well, I guess I don't have much else to say! This design was a lot of fun to work with and even if I don't win, it helped me work on the lore of the Serelian universe :)
