[please know that this project isn’t about hating the st, it’s about why I’m leaving scratch.] Recently, the st deleted my proof project that showed screenshots of [removed] saying that they’ll impersonate someone else. The st said that it was mean-?? There was nothing mean about it, and people literally ASKED me to show them. All I did was show the evidence, and included art theft memes hjkhgbjhjk- I thought that impersonating was AGAINST the scratch guidelines, and now my project has to be deleted because apparently I’m being ‘mean’ to the impersonator?? Bro- how- The st also deleted my army because like my proof project, it was ‘mean and disrespectful’. DuDe- jUsT- hOw- I made that studio so that people could share who they found stealing art so that I could go over to them and tell them nicely that what they were doing is wrong. And- that’s mean?? I’m literally only trying to help scratch, but if the st doesn’t want me to help then that’s just fine. A few days ago, I sent a message to st about suggestions of what to do with art thieves. They now have their eyes on whatever project I make, so I don’t doubt that they’ll see this too. You can ban me, it doesn’t matter anyways because I’m leaving scratch. And these are only a few of the many reasons why I’m leaving. Another reason why is because the littler kids are getting into less trouble when they’re clearly doing a lot of wrong things. Ofc, I’m not talking about all of the young kiddos. I’m only talking about the ones that bully, impersonate, and steal art. A lot of older people on scratch are getting banned for things that just aren’t fair. I know that scratch is directed toward littler kids, but scratch states that anyone that’s older than 5 or 8 (I forgot-) can join. Just because they’re little doesn’t mean that they deserve less hate. I know a lot of examples to prove what I just said, so you can hate me all you want. I’ve never, NEVER heard about a littler kid getting banned. You could actually report a project because of the creator not crediting an image, which proves that scratch might or might not be ok with that. I sure hope they don’t though, because then they might be going against their own rules. Actually, I think they might be.. after all, stole and stealing count as bad words- I’ve even been getting abused from trying to help. I always tell an art thief to stop nicely, but their friend or whoever else stands up for them and starts telling people to bully me and report me. Is telling someone to not steal art really such a crime that needs to be punished by being abused by multiple people?? Bullying is another huge problem on scratch. Even if you say “hello, please stop” , it’ll get them to not like you. if the art thief recolors some art, it still counts as stealing because the person is taking the lineart from the original arts’ creator. I mean- if they credited then that would be fine. Scratch is just not how it used to be. I’ve been here for about 2 years now, and I can tell you that it wasn’t like this when I started. Nowadays, there are just too many art thieves and impersonators all over scratch. I’ve tried my best to help scratch by telling them to stop, but I guess it’s not worth it anyways. Someone told me yesterday that I’ll pretty much never make a difference, but I’m trying to. I’ve lost faith in scratch, and that’s why I’m leaving. I can’t be in an environment that treats people unfairly and lets art thieves and impersonators get away with what they’re doing. It’s just wrong. I just might come back if everything changes. In the meantime, please, please help by telling art thieves + impersonators that what they’re doing isn't nice. You might find me in other sites, like th and possibly da??
