Vector Text Engine - Cloning Method ~ Please use full screen. The quality is very bad without it ~ Text engines are a *crucial* part of almost any game. And this includes my game. I cannot *fully* disclose exactly what I'm working on, yet, as there is a vote going on... ~ Disclaimer ~ I am still working on all the projects I've said I'm working on. I often switch between projects. Leave me alone. ~~~~~~~~~~~ But it's pretty obvious who's going to win...and needless to say, I've already gotten started on a game, (working on other stuff for the heck of it.) --however, I was thinking whether I wanted to go for pixel art or a smooth vector graphic game. I still haven't decided, but I started thinking about a smooth vector game... That's when I realized I needed a text engine. So I went searching, but all I could find were pixel text engines, pen text engines and engines that couldn't detect cases. If I managed to find 1 or 2 of what I was looking for, it wasn't of great quality. So I decided: If I couldn't find what I was going to need, I would make it. And...that's what I did. This took me about an hour and a half to make, and I did run into some issues. But I'm pretty proud of the results. When in full screen, it looks like all the spacings are correct, and there aren't any strange overlapping characters. Of course if there are, please tell me. So... feel free to use this. I shared it because I felt like it could be a benefit to the community. And another thing: I know pen engines are technically "better", but the issue with them is that pen goes to the back. So like it or not, I'm stuck with this and the stupid 300 clone limit. Anyways, that's all. Read inside for more details on how to use this, and ask me any questions you have in the comments. It's pretty easy to use! Also, here are some underrated people you should check out: @-Zoinks- @Epicbro90 @Gabeknight999
