because Maaing would be terrible. lol also kataang is canon, if it was zutara or other headcanon then there would be like.... taang(toph) ty laang(ty lee) or maaing(mai) or whatever and then the whole show's plot would be ruined and/or zuko would be the main character or whatever and the show wouldn't be avatar it'd be like.... "HONOR RETRIEVER" ....or something.
