Basically this is basically a random version of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Most of the characters from my Scratch games have been sucked into the block world of Blockium. Now they are fighting for dominance, with new fights starting all the time. (I planned the story in like 30 seconds if you have any better ideas than say it in the comments please) INFO: This game is currently in very early stages of development. - Two player is currently in early development, and I don't have an AI for single player. So for now, it's basically just free play with the maps and characters we currently have. Currently, games in single player are set to automatically end after 30 seconds, because there is currently no other way for them to end. You can change how long it takes in the code. This game's framerates will occasionally drop, so be prepared for that. Most times I've encountered a frame drop is when a player dies, and the explosion animation happens. If the game is unshared, then chances are that either I'm making an update, or I'm making a quick change in the code. It should be back up shortly. I'm probably going to update the menu design in a later version, but I have higher priorities right now. CONTROLS: Keybinds can be changed in the Keybinds menu (duh). The default keybinds are: Player 1: WAD - Movement Z - Attack X - Ranged Attack C - Special Attack S - Block (Currently not in the game) Player 2: Arrow keys: Movement P - Attack O - Ranged Attack I - Special Attack Down arrow - Block (Currently not in the game) DESCRIPTION: Blockium is a two player fighting game where a one on one battle takes place in a variety of stages, with a variety of characters, most of which come from my other games. PAST UPDATES (dd/mm/yyyy) v0.0.0 (9/11/2020): - Game is released in open Alpha testing phase. The only features are a menu, and single player mode with no CPU. v0.0.1 (11/11/2020): - Added player one's tag. - Made the music change in the menu a bit smoother. - Fixed a bug regarding the selection of fighters for two players (for some reason I added that compatibility but no others) - Have also started progress on making the first version of two player compatibility. v0.0.2 (12/11/2020): - Fixed a bug where you could switch menus while still on a different one. I also just decided that I will only reshare the game if it's a larger update. v0.1.0 (14/11/2020): - First edition of two player mode is here! It's still a work in progress, so it will probably house some bugs here and there. - Updated platform positions of the X Stage. - Added in game player info, like health and stuff. - Updated fall time settings, way too long before. - New character silhouette in the character select menu. - Couple bug fixes. NEXT UPDATES: - More characters. - More maps. - Going to try to make an acceptable CPU for single player. Emphasis on 'try'. - Probably more game settings to make your experience more you. CREDITS: Coding: Me ( ) Design and art: Me, and Music: Me Planning: Me, and another friend of mine who I don't think has a Scratch account Blockium was inspired by and based off of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. And for reading to the end of these, I will tell you this. At some point, a code will appear here that will grant access to a fighter.
