Well... after many setbacks here it is. After many quits... After many many many bugs... I have completed something. This is no longer the 8th failed project of the week. This is... ========================= RAGE PLATFORMER 3: WORLD OF COLOR ========================= I don't know if anyone has been following this series. I don't expect most of my followers to stick around. But these have been my best projects I have ever completed. This is a greatest moment I have had in my years on Scratch. This series has been on for over 2 YEARS!!!! Think about that 2 YEARS!!!!! Here is a short history of the series: Rage Platformer: (v1.0): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/313518809/ This was my first platformer. I included the initial script from some old platformer I can't remember, and set out with a goal to build the hardest platformer on Scratch. I drew inspiration from other hard platformers and also from the Unfair Minecraft map series, where each level is border line impossible and if you die you restart the whole game. These were the founding ideals. This first iteration was insane!!!!!! It accomplished that goal and I still believe it even today. (Some of the levels though may or may not have been possible.) Rage Platformer 2: EASY MODE! (v2.0): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/328794820/ After lots of feedback I thought that I could maybe make it a little easier. I added a wimp mode into a new version that already contained significantly easier levels. In "wimp mode" you just restart the level when you die. Rage Platformer 3: World of Color (v3.1): I said the v1.0 accomplished its goal. This is 10x harder. I did play testing by slowing down the game to 1/60th of its normal speed to test each level with computer precision. Some of these I don't think a human can do. Also, I updated the old physics engine by the first time in my coding history: removing wall jumps. Also, it is world of color because it is colorful and I used sweet looking low saturation graphics thank you very much. This platformer surpasses its goal. I now truly believe beyond a doubt that this IS the hardest platformer on scratch and will be in the months to come. Anyways that's the history. Here are the controls. ========================= CONTROLS ========================= ---->Make sure to turn up sound.<---- Arrow Keys/ WASD: movement p: skip level (I know. I know. I added this not to make it easier, but to allow people to see the other levels. This way you can still try out the other levels and the ending cutscene. Pressing P is counted as cheating.) Have fun make sure to love and fav the project and send me a follow. This is huge. This is probably my biggest ever thing I have done on Scratch. Please give feedback. Remember to Love, Favorite, and Follow. comment "i lick cheese." If you read this far.
