Lolol another DTAE to yeet into the abyss :"D I needed to expand the kinds of animals in my Serelia universe, so here's a Beagle. I feel like I butchered the thing that makes Beagles distinguishable from dogs like labs, but hehhhhh whatever I had a lot of fun working with the design! Whoops I drew him alive more times than dead that's the design in the DTA- eh it's fine, right? Yep, it's another dead char. idk why but I'm making a lot more of these dead children than usual. Okay, some art labels since I do that thing~ 1- Quick Ref 2- Hm? I'm a cutie, right? Hmm? 3- Being watched Bio~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sergi//Male Likes- Warm colors, friends, watching the sun set Dislikes- Cold, being alone, total darkness, death, (Funny how he died, though. Guess he couldn't avoid that) Backstory ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sergi padded through the forest. Clouds above covered the moon, he felt the air chill further as the snow began to fall. He was in no rush, although. He felt as energetic as he had when he was a puppy, determined to make it to Sparseville before the blinding rush of snow set in. He liked the sound of leaves crunching underneath his pads, all shriveled up; it was not long ago that they had just fallen from the trees with brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows. His senses tingled as if he were being watched, but he ignored the feeling. All he wanted was to run on to Sparseville, and happily greet Strike. He would be there with another, his name was Raven. "I wonder who he is," he mumbled under his breath. He yawned, and then picked up his pace. He was not far from a pathway, which would lead directly to Sparseville. The snow began falling more steadily, signaling a full and beautiful winter. He imagined running through the snow, tumbling around with his friends as if they were pups. As he swirled his mind around the joys of winter, a sound snapped him out of his imagining. It had been a stick, snapped cleanly as a paw had laid on it confidently. He suddenly let his senses come back to the front of his mind, feeling the sensation of being watched again. The snap was too clean to have been accidental. Whoever, or whatever was following him, was toying with him. "Who's there?" he called out into the shadows. There was no reply. The woods fell silent for a moment, even the wind seemed to cease as the tension reached it's peak. Before Sergi could make a move, the bushes rustled behind him and a cat leapt upon him. "AH-" he screeched in surprise as he tumbled away. When he caught realization of the moment, he was too late. A crushing paw was laid on his side, and glistening teeth greeted him near his face. "Wh-who are you?" Sergi spoke, his voice shaking as fear spread through him. "That's not important," the cat's voice was gruff, and hint of amusement tainted his tone. His amber eyes glowed as Sergi stared to him, about to beg for his mercy. "No need to even try," the cat hissed, and with a grunt, left a heavy blow to Sergi's head. He laid his head down, and tried to struggle up. But the cat's paw on his side was too hard. The more he struggled, the harder the cat pushed. Then, as he was about to struggle gain, staring wide into the cat's eyes, the weight lifted. But before Sergi could react and escape, it came lashing back down, and across his stomach. "I said don't even try...." the words traild off as Sergi lost grip of his senses. He tried to struggle up, but the world was spinning, and his head turning. His stomach felt as if it were on fire, scarlet pouring from the gaping wound. The wind ruffled his fur, and he looked back to the cat. The world seemed to stop spinning for a moment, and he only saw the malicious, hungry gaze of the cat, and his glistening teeth spread in a smile below. After, rather than spinning, the world disappeared into a cold darkness. Sergi's body was discovered the next day, buried under a heap of snow from the previous night's blizzard. Nobody knew the culprit, Sergi's death was another added to the list of mystery murders that had happened in recent times. Although nobody knew his final words, a note had been found by Strike a few months after his devastating death. It was in Sergi's paw writing, but when was it written was unknown. Strike claims that it was Sergi from the beyond, leaving a note to say goodbye, but nobody believed his theory.
(I had a note in different font here but scratch was a jerk and turned it to question marks) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dang I liked making that story. Wait a sec lemme do something real quick, *Adds another kill to KillClaw's kill list*, okay I'm back! Yeah, I really liked the design! The vibes are perfect for a spirit, even though it really doesn't match the fact that he died in the middle of a blizzard, but hey! He was warm on the inside the whole time, so I guess it does fit. Well, don't have much else to say, ty for reading that mumbo jumbo :) Art- me Design creator & DTA host- @DayInDayOut Music- Lillie's theme Lofi remix by VanilluxePavillion
