click/space to advance OC-TOBER STUFF: 1. First OC. I’m never sure how to define that since I’ve been making up stories since I was like 5, but these are two notable ones. The first character I ever really tried to make a comic of (that I remember) was this dog --I think he was supposed to be a scotty dog because I drew his head as like a box? Anyways, he runs away and gets befriended by some alley cats and then they start a detective agency. ((I was like 8, ok?)) And then one of my first characters that I actually thought of as an OC (like, once I had heard that term) was this girl, I think I named her “owl”, from 9th grade. 2. Latest OC. Also hard to define but i took it as an opportunity to start developing my stormlightsona. 3. friend's OC! This good boi was made by @violent-measures (and also gave me a good chance to practice backgrounds) :0 4. siblings! I tried to paint Red and Cam (my characters from TLTFTI/also some side characters from navia they're reusable that way) and then it took forever for some reason and i lost motivation about here so there's the screenshot. didn't get around to Cam's arm or legs. But did get some interesting practice studying how faces work! It turned out kinda gross on here but i'm hopeful for the future. NON-OC.TOBER STUFF: 5-6. I saw @greninja714 doing some eye studies from reference on insta and thought, hey that seems fun! and then i made these instead of doing homework. dangit pen do your homework 7. someone on tumblr made an amber varian/villain Quirin AU and i might be obsessed now 8-9. weird little warriors doodles i made in an aqqie with @LettuceMaster05 10-11. Modern! Navia 12. (did I already share this? I might have already shared this i can't keep track of my files) draw the squad with the human! mazedogs 13. seems self-explanatory 14. Navia being fierce. I made this back in september and tried a new way of compositing (putting the layers together) involving Blender and i never actually got around to exporting it until today. I didn't really consider it finished which is why some of the spots around the edges are shaded weird but yeah. 15. the sketch for above! The blue/red sketches were for when I used the symmetry tool and when I didn't.
