Way back in 2007, a scratch user by the name of @pdavila shared a very basic game named Shannon Loves Weaver, about a bird trying to communicate its love for another. That project was among the first ever featured projects, and if you need proof, here is a screenshot taken in 2007 of the scratch 1.0 homepage: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scratch_(programming_language)#/media/File:Scratch_(programming_language)_2007.PNG Since that project was one of the first scratch projects ever (project number #299 out of 443 million) and since it was such a good idea for a game, I have completely redone and revamped the original, adding smooth animations, particles, fixing the broken AI of the birds on the telephone wire, adding sound, and lots of other small details. I suggest you go play the original, as it was one of the best scratch games of its era and a great look at what scratch used to be like. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/299/ So obviously, credit to @pdavila for everything! Except the music. That's by Scott Bradley HOW THE SCOREBOARD WORKS: The player's score is determined by how fast it takes them to fill up the Heart Meter. The max score allowed by the game is 30.8, but such a score is impossible since getting it would require you to fully fill up the heart meter the instant the game starts. When the game ends, the score is calculated and if it exceeds the current highscore, it becomes the highscore. Note that if the game is switched to Turbo Mode at any time, the highscore is disabled until the page is reloaded.
