henlo, new short story! this one's called dear binh, dear dung! it's something a little different, inspired by the book "dear anjali", dear binh, dear dung is solely composed of letters. i've only finished letter one, but here's the link to read it: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/453307/?page=1#post-4561681 dung and binh two cousins who are best friends. dung moved to america from vietnam, but binh is still there. soon after arriving in america, dung's father is enlisted in the military and binh's father is already in the vietnamese army. a few months later, the vietnamese war starts and the dung's father and binh's father must fight against each other. will family and love prevail, or will loyalty to their separate countries rip the two families apart? DISCLAIMER: i'm so sorry if this isn't historically accurate or if there is ANYTHING whatsoever wrong. i wrote from my heart, not from my head. i tried to use basic references but, ya know....please do correct me if something wrong. also no offense to anyone who can relate to this story. this is purely a work of fiction. music: counting stars, one republic. i thought it kinda fit the theme of this story.
