[ credits ] [ host - @cinderquin- ] [ art - @cinderquin- and @ficketriff- ] [ music - hey kids - molina ] so on a whim, i found this dta and this design... and i absolutely loved it. i'm a sucker for weird creatures and cryptic beings, so i figured i'd enter. plus the little spots in the design reminded me of organs, so i had an excuse to get weird with it. i haven't decided on a name yet, but i think that's for the best as if of now, as naming it would get me too attached in the case where i do not win the design. the pronouns i will be using for this character are it/its/itself, as i use these myself, and i want to get used to writing them. i figured i'd talk about how i imagine this character functions because... alien mutant character, probably doesn't function like a regular cat. (i kept writing this as if it was something serious and scientific help-) [ I should warn you, if you are very squeamish or feel uncomfortable reading descriptions of things such as slime, or bodily functions, maybe you shouldn’t read this. ] Its body is made of non-organic matter, however its organs are intact inside its body. Said organs are appropriately placed inside its body, where they would normally be, but it may shift out of place due to the fact that nothing is holding it there. Its entire body is made of slime, it has no bone structure throughout the body, however its skull is made of a more firm kind of slime, and it holds the teeth, eyes, and tongue. Nothing is stopping it from bending in unnatural angles except for its head and organs. However, its body may split apart or become smaller if it is required; That being said, It still needs to keep its organs intact, so it may keep its stomach and heart in one piece, and leave the other half of itself empty. As for the slime’s consistency, it changes by temperature. In particularly hot environments, it may start to melt and become more liquid-y, but when the temperature is cooler, it becomes somewhat putty like. If the temperature is way too cold, the slime will freeze, which will kill it. The slime is not particularly harmful to other creature’s skin, but it may irritate certain people’s skin, or melt certain things such as plants. However, the slime can also break down certain things if it is eating or melting, so you should obviously not touch it. [ end of description ] as for how this character acts? i believe it is somewhat chaotic, as they are capable of many unnatural things. it believes itself to be above others, and is hesitant to ask for help or speak up, as it does not want to appear weak. it is aggressive towards others, especially if it does not know who they are or what they want from it. if i were to give them a voice claim, it would be Neon J from No Straight Roads, minus the autotune obviously. i absolutely love this guy, i'll enter several times if i have to. considering how generic this drawing of it is, i may have to enter again ha ha. also sorry that it's stance is uneven? i drew this in my sketchbook originally, so the proportions may be off. i probably shouldve done cell shading, the shading i did doesn't look too great.
