small trigger warning for swearing in the 4 morant song- press b to play the animal crossing theme instead! ahem- welcome to my drawin' process! i'll go more in depth here so yeeyee! oh uhh use arrow keys, space, or click the sprite!! step 1 - have your canvas at 2048 x 1536 , i do a crappy sketch at 100% opacity! [layer 1] step 2 - do a second cleaner sketch! [layer 2] step 3 - uhh im gonna assume we all know what lineart is- also i never use blackline art!! it might be dark but never pure black aha- [layer 3] step 4 - colouring!! heres a tip! if you want a softie look try to keep the colour pallete within the warm side of the colour spectrum! not a rule just somethin that helps me ;D [layer 4 this layer will be underlayer 3] step 5 - get a new layer in between 3 and 4 and get your shading colour! it honestly looks better when you use a cool colour to contrast the warms, but i wanted to try hot pink shading for the first time and i really liked it! [layer 5] step 6 - lower the opacity and your shading layer! i lowered mine to 35% :0 [still on layer 5] step 7 - size your canvas down to 480 x 360 to fit the scratch ratio and for smooth lineart! keep in mind this ratio is super bad for fullscreen!! 1024 x 768 is more reccomended for fullscreen if you want your followers to veiw your content in full screen! i personally dont bc uhh- i type alot into the credits and instructions and its for people to read while veiwing the project ahahaa- q-q
