Current story outline (as of writing this): Welcome to Palios, a large country on the northern area of a continent called Orienram, a place that was once ravaged by The Magic War nearly 478⥿ ago. A war that ended with almost the complete disappearance of magic and spells. Today, not many humans have any magic to speak of at all, in fact monsters and beasts, are really the only modern bearer of spells, and magic, they're the only ones keeping the art alive. But maybe you can change that.
