She lives in Tosgoni, a world made up of Phoenixes, Dogs, Cats, and Sparrows that act like humans. It is separated into 5 clans based on talents, that include a mix of the 4 species: the Hava (air), Aga (fire), Visaka Dara (plant growth), Pani (water), and Kimi (change/magic) tribes. She lives in the village of Gaia on Pani tribe land, with her parents and older sisters; Moss and Rain, where her and her family are shunned. The reason for this is that her parents are from different tribes (same species, though): Ember from Aga and Petal from Pani. She has only two friends; Hail BrigtWing and Mist CloudFall. Her dream is too become a Kaimisata or head of magic in her clan. In the picture she is crying because it is A Khohala, a day of celebrating the fallen and giving away sugary treats to the children. Her mother makes her go with her cousins, who are cruel and tease her.
