BIO/BACKSTORY Tea was born in a poor family of strays with no home. Tea had two siblings from her eldest sister, BonBon, to her youngest brother, Honeycomb. Tea never knew who her parents were, for they had already been taken to a shelter, so it was just Tea and her siblings. BonBon was like a leader, She always kept a lookout on the youngest ones (especially Tea), and she would always find a way to get food from the old markets. Honeycomb was a shy little kit, he never exactly knew what to do so he mainly just listens to his eldest siblings, of course no one ever knew what was going on in his little head. And Tea was a fierce and happy-go-lucky kit, she always had a way to find the fun in everything, however she can cause quite the trouble to BonBon. This family just lived their lives to fullest wether it was sitting in the old, cracked streets, or eating the leftover crumbs of speckled bread across the benches. One evening Tea woke up to the smell of warm, honeysuckle bread. The smell lead Tea to a small bakery, there was not many people but the smell made many come. Tea went inside the bakery, making sure not to get caught. As she trotted her way into the kitchen she was amazed by all the sweet and delicious smells. Tea couldn’t help herself so she took a bit of the warm, crusty bread. It was so good that Tea brought some to her siblings to share. BonBon was mad that Tea went out alone, but glad she was okay. Everyday the bakery opened, and Tea would take something new to her family wether it was some cheese or a big slice of cake, they loved the bakery. On a cold, chilly morning Tea went out to get breakfast from the bakery. When Tea entered she took a bagel, and a slice of cheese. When Tea was about to leave she smelt something new, but it smelled good and sweet. Tea went on top of the counter and saw a cup of liquid with the color of a dark, golden brown. She was confused but amazed, Tea just couldn’t help herself and tried to take a sip, however she ended up falling into the cup of mocha. It was very warm and moist, it almost felt like a hot tub. Tea was having a hard time getting out that hadn’t noticed a little girl was standing right next to her. Startled, Tea strangled to get out before she got caught, however she was stuck in the cup. The little girl picked up the cup and took Tea out. Before the girl had a chance to do anything Tea leaped out of her soft hands and ran back to the streets. Tea had told BonBon what happened, and BonBon forbid Tea to go back to the bakery for her own safety. Tea was frustrated, angrily she ran and ran so far away she could barley see the face of her siblings. And then, she felt something warm and soft touch her head. It was the girl, the girl that Tea saw at the bakery that day. The girl’s hand was so comfy that Tea purred. The girl smiled, and so did Tea. When Tea went back to her family she had seen the worried face of BonBon, Tea was sorry, so sorry she ran and hugged her siblings without saying anything. When Tea went to see the girl she brought her siblings too, knowing that BonBon and HoneyComb might get cautious Tea decided to tell them that it would be ok. As they went to the little girl, the other two stopped, confused Tea went up to the girl. The girl just smiled and said, “Would you like to live with me?”. Tea couldn’t quite understand at first, but when she saw that collar she knew she would have a home. BonBon did not like the idea but Tea had tried everything she could to let her live with the girl and have the home she always wanted. BonBon sighed and then looked at Tea, “Oh Tea, if you really want a home I can’t stop you, just know that me and HoneyComb will love you forever in our hearts.” Tea smiled so did BonBon and HoneyComb, Tea was ready to go to her new home. The girl took Tea to her knew home, Tea knew that she might never see her siblings again, but she knew that even if she can’t see them, they would never forget their dear Tea. Tea had a home now, she no longer had to live on the cold, hard streets, or eat the same food twice, or have to see the dark stares of the strangers they met. Tea had a home now, and cozy home with a nice bed and a soft couch, a home with the girl who’s hands were as warm as summer, and as soft as snow, Tea knew that she was finally home and home she was.
