In terms of time spent on the songs themselves, this is by far the largest project I've ever created, and the total runtime is just under 30 minutes :) Tracks: 01 Emerald Light This song was inspired by the intro to 'Emerald Green' by False Noise, I really like the brass ensemble in the second half 02 64 This song was an experiment in a 6/4 time signature inspired by another of False Noise's songs called 'Scarlet Red'. I really like the kick snare pattern here - there's something notably off from the standard 4/4 but it still feels natural to listen to. 03 Piano Thing This one was inspired by some of Echo Map's music, in my mind the second half almost 'breathes' when all of the drums come in, I love the way this one sounds 04 Snakebite This one's just cool I don't have much to say haha 05 Metric This was inspired by 'Parallel' by Metrik - was experimenting with the drums in the intro 06 Canopy This was one of my first experiments with complex foley sounds. The mixing is kinda mid/bass heavy but it has a cool dreamy feel to it in the second half 07 Phantasm Inspired by 'Phantasm' by Creo, but takes a very different approach drum wise and the drop was meant to be closer to 'Shine' but I lost the project file before I could finish it 08 Pursuit This one feels very videogamey to me, makes me imagine a boss chase scene in Celeste 09 Rupture One of my earlier attempts at creating dnb so the drums aren't great, wanted to create an imposing intro as well which kinda worked 10 Entropy This one you might recognise from @EQD , the drums are really cool but I could never come up with a way of extending it 11 Tomorrow Wanted to experiment with layering multiple sounds on top of each other with different panning values to create depth, I really like the drums in this one 12 Analog Dreams This one was created in Ableton, before I knew how to use limiters properly, hence why it's so loud haha - inspired by some of Jon Hopkins' music 13 Wing The main sound here was created using a single saw wave and just using a load of filtering, distortion, and delay to give it a rich sound. This was used in my project 'Stargarden' on 14 LQD This one you might recognise from 'Voyagers', it was originally meant to be liquid drum and bass; I don't think it was successful but the layering of the chords between the bass and the melody is really cool regardless 15 VR Doot This one was inspired by the melodic dubstep created by Virtual Riot, he was one of the first electronic artists I listened to so I've always been drawn to his older works 16 Supersawww Another one inspired by Virtual Riot, I seem to recall throwing this together in about an hour so the melody is a little awkward 17 2077 Inspired by mid tempo music from cyperpunk, not a very difficult style to replicate at all but it was a lot of fun to make 18 Black Sand Created in 24 hours for a challenge and then later touched up and polished, inspired by Boom Kitty's style of bass music 19 C418 This one was used in 'Sombre Skylines' and was created for a competition on another platform. I wanted to create something very similar to the Minecraft Alpha OST and I think it captured the vibe really nicely 20 Nimbus Song created for another little competition using a single instrument, allowing for the main focus to be on the composition and arrangement rather than the production side. Was used in my project "Nimbus" 21 Midnight This one started off with the idea to have a clock ticking sound as the basis for a song, everything else was just built upon that 22 Guitar Vibes Created using a guitar synth I had found - was originally made for my design duel logo redesign, but was touched up for this project with some granular atmosphere stuff 23 Crystalline Inspired by Alon Mor's 'Holly's Necklace' though falls a little short simply because of how little experience I had at the time of producing it. Was used in my project 'Crystalline' 24 Infiltration This one still holds a special place in my heart for how well it conveys the atmosphere of the piece it was composed for (my project 'The Infiltrator'). Kinda makes me imagine a dystopian cityscape 25 Indigo Inspired by 'Close to me' by Sabrepulse, which I heard from JSAB 26 Vice This is the oldest song on here, from November 2019. Despite having a lot of problems I still kinda like this one for how much it reminds me of Creo's work Thanks to & for helping me test and just being really nice in general <3
