art: me design: @Cinderquin- bg music: me (slowed down version of Lov Song by Cavetown) sORRY FOR THE SQUEAKIES I HAVEN'T PLAYED THAT TUNE IN A WHILE anywh0 this picture is of @Cinderquin- 's design "Ocean Adventure"!! i took inspiration from the ocean water tail for this one! it's like he's an ocean god, with ships struggling to keep level in the ocean! but really, he's wrapping his tail closer to the "camera", while he's closer to the vanishing point! now, onto his bio!---------------------------------------------------- name: kaito 海斗 (a japanese name... 海 (kai), meaning "sea" or "ocean", combined with 斗 (to), which refers to a chinese constellation) pronouns: he/him birthday: january 8 likes: looking at and learning about the stars, sailing, nighttime, exploring, sAiLinG aT niGht tO eXpLOrE tHe seVEn sEAs bY foLLOwiNG hiS MAp aND tHE STArs, rainy days, thunderstorms (they make sailing a lot scarier and he loves the thrill) dislikes: mornings, chicken noodle s00p, JELLYFISH OH BOY DOES HE HATE JELLYFISH WHY IS THERE A JELLYFISH BUT NO PEANUTBUTTERFISh, some kid named chad who was in his third grade class (called his spongebob drawing poopy, what the heck chad), the fairy people on an island he went to once, they made him eat chicken noodle soup when he first got there or else they'd kill him with fairy magic or something backstory time yayayay--------------------------------------------- (this is gonna be a lil similar to cotton bee's, but since i could only get one, then it shouldn't matter any) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaito lived by the ocean all his life. He loved when his family would have days at the beach, but there was one thing he hated about going to the beach.. and one thing that he absolutely could not stand about himself... he couldn't swim. No matter how hard Kaito tried, he would almost always get HECKA close to drowning. They say if you get thrown into the water, you'll automatically learn, but oH HONEY NO THIS BABY JUST ABOUT DIED- He begged and begged his parents to learn how to sail, so he could do more than put his paws in the water. Every time, it was a no. Until one day that he went up to visit his grandparents, a short walk from where he lived with his parents. Around three days into his visit with his grandparents, Kaito finally asked his grandpa something. "Can you teach me to sail? I know that if I go overboard, I'll drown, but I can wear a life vest... and cover it up with a coat!" and his grandpa replied with, "I thought you'd never ask." boo bop beep his grandpa is all like "i was just like you when i was your age until i ran away and taught myself to sail... but i knew how to swim and had a hecka cool coat and made a map of the places i visited" so his grandpa gave him the coat (it had a compass in one of the pockets, very c00l) and the map.. he said to keep the map a secret from his parents or else they'll get ANGY and every weekend, when kaito would visit his grandparents, his cool grandpa would teach him how to sail and thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn when his grandma said that he was ready (he was about college age at this point.....oh yeah his grandpa died near the end of teaching him :( ), she leT HIM GO AND DO ADVENTURES WOO his parents were all like "uhh where's my son" once they realized he was gone and they never got an answer ahahaha not that creative buuuuuut i kinda like it anyway :)
