I threw this system together just to see how it would look. Please tell me if there's anything you think I should add or change! Update: Now supports wall jumping (view demo here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/449859957/ ). Thanks to @JellySulio for that great idea! Update: Feet point in the right direction when jumping. Thanks to @PixelPlayer2009 for pointing that out! Update: Now supports jumping. Update: Now supports walking on slopes. Thanks to @NC9548 for that great idea! Update: The altered proportions framework has longer legs and a shorter torso. Features to Add: attack animation - suggested by @MoonVirus swimming animation - suggested by @MoonVirus crouching - suggested by @MicahBruh Benefits: - It saves so much time that would otherwise be spent making walk cycle animations, allowing for many more unique characters to be made. - Especially with such a diverse group of designers, a framework like this would help improve the graphic cohesion of the game. Drawbacks: - It can be restrictive on the creativity of the designers. - With 10 clones per character, this system has a higher potential to cause lag in the game.
