Dang I posted real content :O I know it's been a while, but here's song cover I recorded last week and felt like uploading. While the Princess and the Frog isn't my favorite movie in the whole world (cause Mean Girls, Lord of the Rings, and the American President are better), the songs are some of the most memorable I've heard in a while. Hearing the soundtrack again definitely brought back memories. There's absolutely some weird audio cutting in this. It's only in two spots, but they stick out like a sore thumb. I would go back and fix it, but the editing for thing recording took forever and I'm too lazy XD. Maybe I'll redo this is a few years just to see how my voice has changed, idk. The cover art took a few hours, partly because I'm still learning my new style. All of this was made by myself, but heavily referenced a picture contained in Sprite 1. Like song covers, I wanted to make the image my own but still keep it true to the original. Just another note, the proportions for my character are so skewed cause I was referencing. My character won't look like this when I make animations, trust me. Oh yay time to criticize my own singing cause I'm a perfectionist. I'd say this is pretty good considering I didn't warm up again XD. Also, after compiling the audio, I realized I didn't do the opening line to the song (the one that goes "Mama, I don't have time for dancing." I actually forgot to do it lol). Yeah after listening to this a few times, I can really hear that I have a problem with holding notes too long. I was already aware of that, but it's particularly bad in fast songs. I do be holding that last note there...singing lessons for 4 years are paying off lol Note to the Scratch Team (in case this gets reported for cover art content): Please, please don't take this project down. The body proportions are only well-defined due to referencing (see in Sprite 1, costume 2) and my drawing capabilities. I don't mean to cause harm or depict myself in an overly inappropriate manner; it was simply art made for fun. - Credits - ART: drawn by me in Photoshop REFERENCE: from Princess and the Frog, see in Sprite 1 MUSIC COVER: sung my me ORIGINAL MUSIC: from Princess and the Frog BACKING TRACK: from someplace on YouTube, idk AUDIO EDITING: done in Premiere Pro, by me TAGS: #music
