Episode 7 : Sewing Like the Wind The next day, Misty,Ava, and Lightning were at Meg’s house to help her sew all the dresses and stuff for the wedding party. There was a lot of clothes to sew and very little time. So Meg really appreciated the fact that some of her friends were here to help her get the job done in time. “ How much time do we have to sew everything, Meg? “ Ava asked while grabbing the fabric from the shopping bags in the corner of the living room. “ About 2 to 3 days. “ Meg replied while getting her sewing machine ready. “ 3 days?! Jeez, you really do need help getting all this done. Especially in that time period. “ Lightning said. Meg nodded nervously, “ Heh, yeah. But I do appreciate you guys helping me though. “ Meg said. “ It’s our pleasure, Meg! Your our friend, and friends help friends, right? “ Misty said. Meg chuckled a bit, “ Yep! Your right on that one, Misty. “ Meg replied. “ So, we are making both your wedding dress and reception dress? Plus the other dresses? “ Ava asked. “ Eh-heh, yep! I know it’s a lot to ask, but I want this day to be unforgettable. In a good way of course! “ Meg said. Ava smiled a bit, “ I get it! Well, not completely because I’m not getting married to anyone. But, I’ve never even gotten engaged, or had a boyfriend. “ Ava replied and then laughed. “ I thought Jay was you boyfriend. “ Misty said. “ What?! No! We are just close friends who love to play sports. Ya know? “ Ava replied nervously. Lightning rolled her eyes and handed Meg the lace rolls. “ Your going to look so beautiful, Meg! I love the design you sketched for your wedding dress. “ Lightning said. “ Aw thanks, Light. “ Meg said with a slight smile. “ Dash might even faint when he sees how gorgeous you’ll look. “ Ava teased. “ Oh Ava..... I’m not THAT beautiful “ Meg said and then she blushed a bit. “ Everyone has their own natural beauty, Meg. “ Misty said to her. Meg looked up from what she was sewing to see Misty for a second, “ Yeah, I know but thanks for a pep talk, Misty. “ Meg said. “ I just hope Dash doesn’t get too wound up about making everything perfect. “ Lightning said while digging through some bags of fabric. “ He just wants this to be special for Meg. That’s how much he loves her. “ Misty replied. “ He just likes to see me happy, girls.... “ Meg said quietly. “ Kinda reminds me of how Silver is sometimes.... but speaking of Dash, am I the only one who’s noticed that Dash has been acting strange lately? “ Lightning asked. “ What do you mean by strange? “ Ava asked her. “ His eyes keep glowing every so often then they go back to normal. He’s also been acting a little stressed. When me, him, Meg and Silver went on our double date last week, he acted a bit weird when Silver asked him is he excited to spend the rest of his life with Meg. “ Lightning explained. “ I think Lightning may have a point. That doesn’t sound like him at all to act like this. “ Misty said. “ Maybe someone should check in on him sometime. “ Ava suggested. “ But we have so much to do still to prepare for the big day! We don’t have time to go talk about possibly emotional stuff right now! “ Misty said. Meg was starting to get a bit worried because of their conversation. Was Lightning right? Was something actually bothering Dash? Or even possibly.... something happened to him? “ Anyways.... can we change the subject? I’m starting to get a bit stressed guys.... “ Meg said. “ Oh sorry, Meg. I didn’t realize that what I was saying was so stressful. We can definitely talk about something else, the last thing we need is for you to start worrying and getting stressed out before your big day. And also, if you get stressed, you might mess up your sewing. “ Lightning explained. “ Yeah.... your right. Thanks, Light. “ Meg replied a bit sadly. Lightning nodded and went back into the bags to search for Meg’s tiara that she was going to wear with her vail in her hair. But Meg still couldn’t help but worry of Dash was alright or not. That conversation got Meg all wound up but the girls thought Meg was fine after they agreed to change the subject. But they were wrong. Inside, Meg was filled with nerves and worries about Dash, but she didn’t want to bother telling the girls what she was feeling. Because she was afraid that it would start up something bad. So she just kept her thoughts and feelings to herself and focused on sewing her stunning wedding dress. FINALLY I GOT THE INSPIRATION TO FINSH WRITING THESE EPISODES, xD.
