Prologue I woke up. I was startled at what I saw, and also wasn't. I heard muffled voices. I could only recognize a few words, as the noises were barely audible. "she" I heard. "is" and then "she" again. I was silent, as I looked around, the room was almost pitch black, though I could make out the large table I was on. I couldn't remember anything. Maybe I was just created. Maybe not. I may have had my memories wiped. But that was not important. What was important was that I saw a large, tall figure step in. Their fur was a dark brown, with eyes a shimmering orange. As they cam a bit closer I could see that they had large, white paws and a black, fluffy tail. "Hello?" They said. They were probably a female, But I would not decide now. "Hello." I said. There was a short pause. "Are you alive?" "Yes." Then I saw them leave. Then there was more muffled voices. "Sentient" "we" "world." "out" Then I saw the same cat. "Come with me." I slowly got up and started walking. She led me to another room, a brighter one. I could see clearly and could make out a few other cats sitting and chatting. I caught a few sentences they were saying before they noticed we were there. "She is sentient, most likely. Maybe we should see for sure, and let her out into the real world" "But won't she need to learn how it works? and won't she need money?" They all took a long pause and stared at us. All startled at my presence. Then a orange tabby with purple eyes said slightly nervously "Oh! July... uhh… so, what do you think we should do? seeing as you.. you know." Then, July said "We should teach her the basics. Money, taxes, things like that. Then, we should start helping her go into the real world." Then another cat spoke, this time a pure white cat, with pink eyes. "Maybe we should teach them to be careful? Their made out of glass, and if they spilled it could be the end." "Yes," July said. "we should. but if they do spill, we should give her this. Then teach her how to use it." They pulled out of a bag something that resembled a tag. "Yes. Now we should put that into action. "Agreed." said everyone in the room.
