Name: Marigold Wills Age: 13 Hogwarts House: Gryffindor Birthday: June 1st Backstory: Marigold was born in a large, famous family known for their math theories. Her parents expected her to be talented in mathematic fields too. Marigold didn't like that her parents became angry at her for every little mistake in her math homework. Her parents also didn't like her heterochromia because it wasn't "normal". Her parents' rages made her self esteem decrease. One Halloween, when Marigold was eleven years old, she moved to her grandparents' and began to learn about farming and bonded with animals since her grandfather owned a farm. Her favorite things to help her grandpa grow are pumpkins, since that was the first plant her grandpa taught her to grow and she fell in love with the taste. Her grandma taught her how to weave clothing and Marigold loved the finished pieces, but she was too impatient to weave by herself and drew her ideas of clothing designs on paper. Marigold's grandparents didn't have as high expectations as her parents, which allowed Marigold to develop many new hobbies her parents wouldn't have liked. At school, she met a girl named Daffodil and soon became friends because of their similar like of fashion. Occasionally, Marigold's parents would come visit her, but it wouldn't go too well. Personality: Marigold is modest, friendly, sensitive, and can pick up on people's moods easily. She can be very stubborn when approached with things she doesn't like, such as math and her parents. Hobbies: Marigold loves farms, fashion, animals, and eating pumpkin pie. She is picky with books and only likes to read fantasy and mystery.
