I want them to have a mate not only because it would be cute, but for various reasons. Batspeckle is not super insecure but is extremely awkward and doesn't know how to handle talking for very long. I did not add this to make them "edgy", i added this trait because i wanted a character that would fit me and how i feel, and thats what i did with aspenshade aswell, character development wise. It was like me as a prideful person, turning into who i am now, realizing i'm not perfect at all, infact i'm extremely flawed, and being able to accept this. Now batspeckle is my awkward side, the one who either talks too much or too little. The reason i want Batspeckle to have a mate is because it would help them very much, character development wise, as it would help them overcome their shyness and awkwardness, and if not that, atleast someone could sed how truly beautiful Batspeckle is.
