Hi Guys! Sorry that I haven't been posting, I've been super busy with school and stuff, but I have a HUGE announcement! So as most of you know I have and an uncurable lung disease called CF. And my lungs have slowly been deteriorating for my whole life but had become faster in the past 5 months. My doctor said that if I didn't get a lung transplant within the next few months, I would die. Well today, we found out that health Canada just approved TRIKAFTA!!!!!! Trikafta, known as a 'miracle drug' is referred to as a triple-combination therapy, combining 3 drugs that target the defective CFTR protein. Its active ingredients are tezacaftor, ivacaftor, and elexacaftor.
