Please pray for my guinea pig, Daphne. I don't really know how to say this. I was never the one to complain and ask to be prayed for in church. But please help me pray for Daphne, because more prayer is very powerful and Daphne could really use it right now. Daphne fell out of her cage tonight and paralyzed her back legs. Daphne has two babies, and her friend, Cassie, has five. Daphne was put in a cage with Cassie so they could help each other take care of their babies. My sister was playing with the babies and left the cage open and Daphne fell out. I was there, but I was on my phone and didn't realize what was happening. Daphne hit the floor on her side and screamed a bit, but then she stopped screaming when I picked her up. She wouldn't move her legs and dragged herself around. She doesn't seem to be in much pain, so I don't think she can feel her legs. A sign of paralysis, usually permanent. Please pray for Daphne. She is a huge part of my breeding program, and if I lose her my program would be set back months or even years. She is from a line of guinea pigs in a totally different part of the country and she can't be replaced. Daphne is my favorite guinea pig. If Daphne passes away, 8 other guinea pigs' lives are at risk: the lives of babies she has to nurse and the life of her friend, Cassie, who would be overwhelmed by the babies. While her condition is likely irreversible, there is still a chance her condition could get better. A miracle could happen. She could live. There's a chance she can still feed her babies. And even if I never get a chance to breed her again, which would be very inconvenient for my program, I love Daphne very much. She's my favorite. I love her like my own child and if anything worse happens to her, I honestly don't know if I'll be alright. There is nothing my family can do for her. Surgeries and x-rays are very expensive and likely won't help her condition. They are more likely to make her condition worse. If we pay the vet to do anything, it will likely be to put her down. Please pray for Daphne. Prayer takes such a small amount of time and effort, and could make a world of difference. Thank you for reading. Please love and share to help me raise awareness for Daphne. If you can, add this project to a studio.
