Diwali is a Hindu Holiday. It is the festival of light. We celebrate good over evil. We celebrate Ram's (God) return from defeating Ravaan* (Villain/Demon). *It's pronounced "Ra-vaanh" people add an "a" at the end instead of the "h" to have an easier way of saying it. But trust me, that's not how you really pronounce it.
