A Hat in Time art process! Just how I do drawing stuff You can follow along if you want but I would appreciate if you didn't try and replicate my style. Everyone has unique styles and you will find yours if you haven't already. 1. A rough sketch. Very rough. 2. On another layer, start drawing over the lines. 3. Hide the sketch layer. 4. On the line layer, turn the opacity down. 5. On a new layer, I fixed the lines because the old ones sucked 6. Hide the first lineart layer 7. Base color. I personally don't bucket but you can. 8. Some basic shading. This is all the shading I normally do for people, but sometimes I do more for animals. 9. Background. I was going to add some other characters but I was getting a little bored. 10. Watermark (it's teeny but you can see it in the bottom left corner) Character is Hat Kid from A Hat in Time. I do not claim this character as my own in any way, she belongs to Gears for Breakfast and whoever else created A Hat in Time. I use Medibang Paint Music is Peace and Tranquility from A Hat in Time.
