Press space to hide and show variables. This is also a 0 player game. There are barely any inputs the player can make. Males have black outline, females have white. Males are afraid of down mouse, females like it. Hover mouse over male to make it stop moving. The higher the population is, the higher mortality rate creatures have. Mortality rates shown are for circles only. Males can bread as frequently as they want, but females have a randomized breeding cool down. Babies are smaller and also can't breed. When two creatures are making a baby, they will shake next to each other and a baby will spawn. Mutations are when two creatures breed and make a new shaped creature. These are the mutations: Circle+Circle=10% chance to get square Square+Circle=1% chance to get squircle Square+Square=10% chance to get rectangle Rectangle+Rectangle=5% chance to get longtangle Square+Rectangle=5% chance to get triangle Here are the descriptions of each shape: Circle - Your basic shape. Everything about it is average. Square - Moves slower than circles, but lives around twice as long. Rectangle - Moves slower than squares, but lives around 3 times as long as circles. Longtangle - Just a joke. Babies move 100 times as fast as circles, and adults can't move. Longtangles die around 100 times faster than circles. Squircle - Squircles grow up faster, and females regain the ability to reproduce around twice as fast. Triangle - Triangles ignore population density, meaning that their mortality rate will be 1 in 10000 for males and 1 in 10500 for females regardless of the population. You will expect to see lots of these guys if you leave the simulation running for a while.
I just got bored and made this. It was just the first thing I thought of doing when thinking of something to make.
