Luna had always been... different, really, than everyone. While her friends slept during the night, Luna went out hunting with a bow and and quiver she'd made herself. One day, she found a bear in the forest, and instead of hurting her, the bear started... licking her? That was when she knew that she was actually different. She could hop from branch to branch, shoot with a bow and arrow and never miss, and even see during the night. Then, one day, Her dad took her to her room. "Listen, Luna..." He started. "You're a demigod. There's a camp close to here called camp half-blood for special people like you. There, you'll meet a guy that's half-horse half-human. He'll explain everything." He explained. "O-Okay, But then... who's my mom?" She asked, bewildered. Her father took a deep breath before looking back up at her. "Artemis. You're mother is Artemis." He finally said. She stared at him in shock. She'd never thought about it this way, but now it all made sense. The night vision, the agility, being good with a bow and arrow. "We have to go now." he said, and Luna just nodded, too confused to speak. After long hours of driving, she finally arrived at a forest. There was a gate. "Listen, I can't see it, but you can. Only demigods and gods can see camp half-blood." He said as he got out of the car and pointed towards the gate. "I love you." He said as he hugged her and then nodded, signaling for her to go. She started walking slowly towards the gates. *** After some time to practice with people like her, Luna learned to control her powers and became much more skilled. Though she's happy with her new life, Luna has always wanted to meet her mom, Artemis.
