h e l l o t h e r e - Uh, so @-millipede made a project with facts on millipedes so here is the same thing but on centipedes bc they're better >:D (no offence its kinda a joke-) I hope that these facts help prove that they're awesome and not just some creepy bug so here are the facts: - their name means 100 legs, but centipedes can have anywhere from 15 to 177 pair of legs (or more apparently) - they always have an odd number or leg pairs; they can't have exactly 100 legs - they have one leg pair per segment, while millipedes have two pairs - centipedes are not as dangerous as everyone says, but they are aggressive and will bite in self-defense - centipedes are carnivorous, and they eat things like spiders, flies, and other bugs - they have a long lifespan - they are nocturnal - centipedes can't see well, and rely mostly on their antenna. Some species don't even have eyes- - they prefer dark and damp areas rather than sunny and dry places - centipedes are surprisingly fast I hope you learned something new XD uh, if you're wondering what the difference is between a millipede and a centipede it's that millipedes look rounder and shinier and centipedes look 'flatter' with less legs They both look cute ig But sometimes millipedes are creepier than centipedes... as of me making this project, my favorite type of centipede is the Chinese Red-Headed Centipede, the one on this project's thumbnail ;D (definitely not due to Tokyo Ghoul shh) centipedes look really cute with their antenna curled up omg-
