Instructions --------------------------------------- -When asked "Which side/angle do you know?" respond with ONLY the letter of the side/angle -When asked for the side length or angle measurement, please enter a number between 0 and 90 (because those are the lower and upper limits of angles in a right triangle) -The picture that I have drawn will most likely NOT match the dimensions of your triangle, so please don't be alarmed by that -All of the answers that are given (should) be accurate, if you receive an answer that doesn't make sense, please don't hesitate to write a comment -This calculator only solves for side lengths (there are ways to solve for angle measurements when given two sides, and Scratch is equipped with the necessary functions, but I thought it would take too long to code) -Depending on what numbers you input into the calculator, your answer will most likely be a long decimal, because the trigonometric functions themselves (sine, cosine, tangent) are long decimals
-All scripts and images by @taupuri1 -All of the math involved is based on the concepts of trigonometry, so it should be accurate This was just a quick project I wanted to make to see what was possible using math on Scratch. This project also has only one script on the main sprite (the triangle). (BTW most of the stuff in the thumbnail has nothing to do with the project)
