Click the flag and use your space bar right away! Fishy needs to avoid being caught by the hook! Be careful, the scuba guy is coming from the other direction. You'll lose points each time you hit Scuba Guy. *Don't hit the bottom of the ocean floor- it's too dirty for Fishy.
In grade 7, the students will be creating subprograms and defined counts. Click on the backdrop to see the example of defined count. Click on Scuba Guy to see an example of a subprogram. Extension to this project: Have the students remix this project and add obstacles moving on the X axis that will ''feed'' fishy and give him energy. Maybe he will change colour and earn points. Ask the students to add sounds and music to this project and change the backgrounds to create "levels". *Note- some codes in this program meet the Grade 8 requirement as it analyzes data through Boolean expressions and other sensor blocks. Check out the Grade 8 lesson for more information on Boolean expressions and variables. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/453055992/
