Help to attack/defend the Hogwarts castle depending on to which side your allegiance lies: The Death Eaters (Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange & Lucius Malfoy) or the Order of the Phoenix/Dumbledore’s Army (Harry Potter, Ron Weasley & Hermione Granger). The central HUD on the top of the screen displays a randomly generated colour of the spell to be cast. It is up to you to scroll through the seven available colours of your player HUD (located above your chosen character) with the left and right arrow keys and press the spacebar to hurl a curse. Produce the correct spell and the opponent’s health will decrement by one. Fail to do so and you will lose a life. Each character possesses eight lives to begin with. The game ends when one of the players is defeated by the other. When duelling against a human, a minutes’ countdown will determine a draw if the clock runs down to zero. Only two players can duel at any given time. If the two duel slots are taken, please try again in a minute. In the case that you are the initiator of a duel and awaiting an opponent, you will be assigned the left character position. A beep will sound to inform the initiator that the second player has joined. If you are the second person to join a duel, you will be assigned the right character position. * Playing against another human requires you to be logged in to your Scratch account. Users with the ‘New Scratcher’ status won’t be able to participate in such duels due to cloud data restrictions.
