hello! welcome to my holiday/winter/christmas map! the only things currently open are backups and thumbnail tryouts! the song that i chose for this map is the christmas song (chestnuts roasting on an open fire) by nat king cole. i chose this song because it my all time favorite christmas song! also, yes i did make the song shorter because i wanted to try and make it so that i didn't need a million people to have to sign up in the time span of two weeks. (wow that was a wordy sentence and now grammarly is mad at me) rules: - one sprite only please, if you need more please let me know first - make sure that your map part is relevant to the lyrics/christmas/holidays/the message of the song - i prefer amv over pmv - NO BACKDROP ANIMATING - please have your entry be a remix of this project - follow the community guidelines and make sure that your map part is appropriate and relevant (if you have any questions about this let me know!) - you can animate lyrics and/or characters, but if you are doing characters please have them look different to each other (different skin colors, hair colors, body types, etc.) - no forever loops, other loops are fine, but they must end when your part does - make sure the sprite that you use, as well as any broadcast/message names are called part [insert your part name here] for example, if you have part 3, you will name your sprite 'part three' and all of your messages 'part three' and 'part three (2)' and so on if you can not follow all of the rules, i may ask you to drop out of the map i am looking for fairly experienced artists/animators and i most likely will not be able to accept everyone who applies. i am really sorry if i don't accept you and please don't get mad no matter what i decide. the palate is not strict but i would like the map to uphold a christmas/holiday/winter-y theme to it so please use colors such as red, green, yellow, blue, purple, and white. for the thumbnail, i would like to have multiple people try out for thumbnail. anyone can try out for thumbnail and you do not have to ask me for permission or anything. you are more likely to be chosen if you handwrite your own font, stick to the color palette, have it relating to the holiday season. to get a part in this map, please fill out the form below username without the @ symbol // the part you would like // link to 2-3 or your previous animations or art // promise that you will follow all the rules and complete your part by the due date // codeword IN A SENTENCE if you were invited to this map, you do not have to fill out the form, just let me know which part you would like :)) i will allow multiple parts per person, but you have to have finished your first part before you can have another, and you must fill out the form again. also, i will be taking backups so i may ask you if you can be a backup instead. i will mention all of the backup animators at the end of the full map! the due date of this map will be december 17th for everyone, no matter when you signed up. no exceptions! i really want this map to be done a few days before christmas and i will need some time to put it all together. i will give you a two day warning, but you will not get any more time after the due date. however, the sooner you finish your part the better! :)) part list: intro: DONE backup: part 1: backup: part 2: me!!
