(This is the start of a fan made Warriors book, featuring my OCs. If you want any of your WC cats added, ask me) ‘No..I can’t die here. One of the Warriors will hear me, right? If I just keep yowling...right? Then they can help me out of the stream. I can’t die as a Kit, right?’ Lost’Kit thought (she is one of my older OCs), as she paddled her hind legs and struggled to get out of the current that was slowly pulling her back. Lost’Kit woke up. Her fur was drenched with sweat because of that dream. Luckily it wasn’t real. Missing’star was still asleep with Braken’kit under her tail. Oh right, today was the apprentice ceremony. She padded out of the nursery and sat next to the fresh kill pile. It was weird how her mother; the leader slept in the nursery for a while. She won’t have to anymore after today because she was going to be an apprentice now. Maybe Feather’Wing will be her mentor? That would be nice. She always took care of her and her kin when her mother had stuff to do. I wonder how she handles four kits. She snapped out of the thought and decided to take some fresh kill to the elders. ‘Gotta respect the elders. They served their loyalty to the clan, but now they grew old. I wonder if they have any stories about my father? Ive never actually seen him before. Mom says he died fighting for the clan.’ She thought, padding to the elders den. “Hi, Twig’Claw. I brought fresh kill for you guys.” She spoke, setting the two mice at Twig’claw’s paws. “Why thank you, young one. Are you also here for stories?” He asked, his tail flicking with amusement. “Do you know anything about my father?” “I have one. I can’t remember much of it, but I can tell you stories about him.” Twig’claw meowed, scraping his claw on the moss he was laying on. “Okay, thanks.” She smiled. “Whisper’Tail was a vey charismatic warrior. I remember watching as he fought off a badger from Snakerocks. All the badger was able to do was claw his nose.” “Really? Then how did he die?” “Well, a Thunderclan patrol was being ambushed by Shadowclan cats. He fought some of them off, but they managed to pin him and tear his throat. I was there, and so was Missing’Star. She couldn’t get to save him.” “..Oh.” Her ears bent down. “That’s all I remember, now run along. You have a ceremony to prepare for.” “Oh! Right!” She ran off, into the nursery. “Cmon, time to be groomed.” Missing’star purred as she padded towards her mother. “Right, mom.” She laid down, letting her mother groom her fur. After that, it was time. Time for her ceremony. Her mother leaped onto Highrock. “All cats gather around highrock for a meeting!” She yowled, sitting down. Everyone gathered in front of the giant rock, silence filling the territory. “Today we have three kits that have proved they are able to go into being apprenticed by a warrior. Lost’Kit, Braken’kit, and Snow’kit, step up.” We did as told, padding in front of the rock and facing everyone. “Lost’Kit, do you promise to listen to your mentor and keep the warrior code?” “Yes, I do.” “Your new name shall be Lost’paw and your mentor will be Narrow’sight.” She smiled, dipping her head in respect. “Braken’kit, do you promise to listen to your mentor and uphold the warrior code?” “Yes!” “Your new name will be Braken’paw. Your mentor will be Feather’Wing.” Braken’paw seemed very happy with this. “Snow’kit, do you promise to listen to your mentor and uphold the warrior code?” “Yes.” “Then your new name shall be Snow’paw. Your mentor will be me.” Everyone started cheering and yowling their names. “Snow’paw! Braken’paw! Lost’paw!” They chanted, their voices filled with happiness. After the meeting, it was almost nighttime. Everyone went to their dens, except for the Warriors that hunt at night. She curled up in her moss nest, dozing off to sleep. She got up and heard whispering. She wasn’t in camp. It..was StarClan. Before her, she saw StarClan whispering to eachother and deciding things. She decided to not interrupt them, and wait patiently to ask why she was here. One looked at her, instantly smiling. He padded up to her. “Hi, Lost’paw. It’s your father.” He spoke. His fur was a dark shade of brown, and his amber eyes looked down on her. She smiled brightly, as he touched noses with her. “We’ve chosen you, and three others. A great terror will rise, and you need to wait at the snakerocks. You will be guided from there.” StarClan slowly faded as she woke up. “Was that real..?” She muttered. Perhaps she should go at dawn.
I enjoyed making this- i would appreciate if you wanted your OCs in this- it doesn’t matter what animal, just as long as it isn’t mythical or OP. Hope you like it so far! There will be about 7 chapters per one book, and there might be several arcs.
