this is for Sunny's tribute project for Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen, died on November 24th, 1991, from AIDS. He wrote songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Bicycle Race, Don't Stop me Now, and many other legendary hits. On July 13th, 1985, he sang and performed in Live Aid, making Queen's Live Aid performance one of the best in rock history. He is also a prominent figure in the LGBTQ+ community (at least, in my opinion, he should be), as he was bisexual. I have no idea how to close this off, so I'm just going to finish with my favourite quote from him: "Oh, the piano fell down!" (yes, he actually said that. dont ask me how a piano falls down)
now, onto the art itself since i was a little limited on time (great job, procrastinator me) i still had no idea what to pose him in, how to pose him, and crap like that my LA teacher says "proper prior planning prevents poor performance" and i STILL havent gotten the memo well, i dont think this is poor performance, its kinda half decent so, i decided to do what i was best at, bust shots so, i drew him all elegant like, closing his eyes, as the wind blows (and it doesnt really matter to him) i also drew him in 70's form because why not? i had no idea what to do for his outfit, so i did a simple v-neck shirt and i nabbed the background from google images and used pixlr x to add a star because hes a ✨star✨ yeah
