The cat will ask you in what language do you want to translate. The answer should be this: am = Amharic; ar = Arabic (TTS included); az = Azerbaijani; bg = Bulgarian; ca = Catalan; cn = Simplified Chinese (TTS included); cs = Czech; cy = Welsh (TTS included); da = Danish (TTS included); de = German (TTS included); el = Greek; en = English (TTS included); es = Spanish (TTS included); et = Estonian; eu = Basque; fi = Finnish; fr = French (TTS included); hr = Croatian; hu = Hungarian; gl = Galician; id = Indonesian; is = Icelandic (TTS included); it = Italian (TTS included); iw = Hebrew; ja = Japanese (TTS included); ko = Korean (TTS included); lt = Lithuanian; lv = Latvian; mi = Maori; no = Norwegian (TTS included); nl = Dutch (TTS included); pl = Polish (TTS included); pt = Portugese (TTS included); ro = Romanian (TTS included); ru = Russian (TTS included); sk = Slovak; sl = Slovenian; sr = Serbian; sv = Swedish (TTS included); th = Thai; tr = Turkish (TTS included); tw = Traditional Chinese (TTS included); vi = Vietnamese; uk = Ukrainian; zu = Zulu. For the text to speech (TTS) option, click the blue cat to hear the text that is translated, and click the green cat to hear another version of the text that is translated. For example, if you want to translate something into Portuguese, the blue cat says the text in Portuguese and the green cat says the text in Brazilian Portuguese. Here is what the green cat says: es = Latin American; pt = Brazilian Portuguese. This project uses Google Translate and Amazon text to speech extension and it will not work if you don't have internet. Inconveniences: For the text to speech option, you will hear a stereo voice. This is Amazon's choice for choosing the lowest sound quality for their TTS voices. For the translate option, some words have different meanings. For example, „Salut” means „Hello” in Romanian and „Health” in Catalan. Google Translate takes the Catalan meaning and if you want to translate „Salut” in Slovak the output will be „Zdravie” („health” in Slovak) and not „Ahoj”. Complete list:
