NEW GAME!! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/870895533/ Make sure to check out my (ungeneric) platformer too! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/452827354/ note: I went and updated this game three times without ever resharing. Don't reshare, keep your dignity. ◄◄◄ Info ►►► Welcome to Bubble Bob! This is an infinite game about Bob, a man who likes to fly around the sky with his magical, person-carrying bubble. He must be careful of the obstacles on the way, while also using additional resources, like wind, to his advantage. ◄◄◄ Instructions ►►► Move your mouse to make the big bubble follow it. You have to position it carefully and make Bob's bubble bounce in a way to make it avoid the obstacles. The direction of the bounce depends on how the bubbles are aligned. Get a high score, collect the soap and fly for a long time to collect medals. They can unlock new heroes! There are also powerups you start with or get along the way: - Wind: activated by clicking on the player's bubble, it sends a big wind blow from the top of the screen, making Bob go downwards and possibly avoid an obstacle. Use it wisely! - Star: upon touching this powerup, Bob will become invincible and will be able to fly through obstacles for a short period of time. It's really rare!
◄◄◄ Credits ►►► - beepbox.co for being one of the music creation tools of all time. I used it to make all the music in this game and some sound effects too! - Stock Sounds Youtube channels: a lot of the sound effects come from them. - Sega for creating Marble Garden Zone in Sonic 3: the landscape of the second difficulty level was heavily inspired by the zone! - Jusebox for creating the font "The Skinny", which is used in a lot of UI elements. - @LilyMakesThings for creating the Jetsy series, which was the inspiration for this game. She also playtested, reported bugs, accepted to be an unlockable character and offered me to put Jetsy in the game! - for creating the music in Jetsy 2. Again, a lot of inspiration has been taken. ◄◄◄ Updates ►►► Nov. 25, 2020: Started work on the game Nov. 30, 2020: Started playtesting Dec. 01, 2020: Shared (lol that was fast) Dec. 01, 2020: v1.1 - Made getting some medals easier - Changed the music track Dec. 10, 2020: v1.2 - Added support for cloud World Records - Collectibles now slightly move - Updated the intro Dec. 14, 2020: v1.2b - Fixed a critical bug that infinitely created new clones of the World Record variable digits - Fixed a bug that made it possible to keep the World Record variable at the bottom when not on the title screen Dec. 14, 2020: v1.2c - Tried a fix for the world records not updating Dec. 23, 2020: v1.3 - Fixed a bug that caused the "game over" text to not change in the event of a personal record ◄◄◄ Tags ►►►
