Hey! Looks like you've stumbled upon this project, good for you :D. I've taken inspiration from things like SWC and SRC to create Scratch Workout Camp, or SWC...wait. *ahem* Hey! Looks like you've stumbled upon the Scratch Gym, or TSG. We take inspiration from camps such as SWC and SRC to create a camp all based on working out. The Scratch Gym, or TSG, is a triannual brand-new virtual workout camp all throughout Scratch. It runs through the months March, August, and December, where you make a workout goal and try to complete it in a month. You can compete against the other cabins by doing dailys and weeklys (and finding codewords such as push-up) and earning points for your cabin! We need leaders who will be active online and off! The cabins are below: Cardio: Leader: Co-Leader: Flexibility: Leader: Co-Leader: Yoga: Leader: @puppylover9865 Co-Leader: Weights: Leader: Co-Leader: To sign up, remix this project and answer the following questions: 1. Tell us about yourself! 2. Why should we choose you? 3. Why do you want to be leader/co-leader? 4. Have you participated in something such as SWC or SRC before? 5. How active will you be? Do you have anything that might clash in March? 6. Do you understand what you will need to do if you become leader/co-leader? (It's okay to say no and ask what you are confused about, I'll answer in the comments <333) 7. What are some of your favorite types of exercise? 8. What cabin do you prefer? 9. What is the codeword that proves you've read through this? 10. Check these: ✓ I will be active in my cabin (and the main cabin if you want to be leader) at least 5 days a week. ✓ I am happy to and will share a promo for TSG on my profile. ✓ I am dedicated to exercise and will log at least 28 exercises as a role model for my campers. Making your entry fancy isn't required, but it will definitely raise your chances of being picked!
FAQ (nobody has asked any questions but if they do ask...) 1. What is TSG? TSG is a triannual virtual workout camp that runs for the months of February, June, and December. You make a workout goal and try to complete it, as well as get points for your cabin to win the ultamite prize of a lifetime membership to The Scratch Gym! (a.k.a bragging rights). 2. When if my app due? 11:59pm EST on January 29th. 3. When will you be choosing leaders? January 30th is when I will look over all the apps and decide. I will notify the leaders and display them on this project sometime on January 30. Co-leaders will be chosen by the leaders on January 31-JFebruary 4. (Leaders, please note: the only people eligible to be co-leaders will be people who wanted to be leader but didn't get chosen.) 4. What are the differences between leader and co leader? Leaders are a bit more "powerful" and are promoted in the main cabin to add points for every cabin. Co-leaders are only curators in the main cabin, and campers generally aren't invited to it. Both leaders and co-leaders are promoted in their own cabin and add workouts to the cabin. 5. Will there be more cabins? If this gets more attention than I expected, then yes, cabins will be added. 6. When are camper signups out? February 6. 7. Why do i need to include my timezone? (Basically copied this from SWC): This is a very small factor in choosing leaders and co leaders, as we don't want all the leaders to be in the one timezone! that would make the adding of points and words more difficult. you can either say, for example aest (australian eastern standard time) or gmt+10. 8. How do you communicate with leaders and co-leaders? We'll make a forum or (if possible) a pabblet (replace bb with p) if it is okay with the leaders and co-leaders. The pabblet would be password protected. 9. How will i know if you have seen my application? I will going to be loving all applications when I've seen them. I'll also go through them at the end. 10. Do you need sorters for camper sorting? YESYESYESYESYEEEEESSS PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEEEE (Desc basically copied from SWC November Leader Sign-ups.)
