Name: Ray Age: 17 Backstory: Remy was Ray's living name, and Ray was actually the name of his twin brother. Remy was the healthy baby everyone had expected, but Ray was not only a surprise, he was born with a slight case of down syndrome and tourettes syndrome. Their parents were embarrassed of Ray and annoyed with the sounds he would make, so while raising the two, they hid Ray away and stitched his mouth close. When the chance to rid themselves of Ray came, they jumped at the opportunity, but Remy was not having it. He loved his brother so much and couldn't bare the idea of loosing him, so the night before they shipped Ray off to be sacrificed, Remy cut his hair, switched his clothes, and stitched his mouth close to make sure they wouldn't recognize the difference. The next day Ray was sacrificed on schedule, his head beaten in and chest stabbed, but what the people don't know was that it was Remy who was sacrificed and Ray actually lived on. In the after-life all Remy had was a shirt covered in Ray's embroidery and a feeling that he did good and his death was not wasted. Years later the zombie boy, now named Ray, got in a fight with some older zombie boys after they made fun of his shirt, which he was weirdly attached too, and his arm fell off. He was going to put it back on when he realized how much fun the younger kids were having with it. The little boys thought it was hilarious how Ray's arm could still move, and Ray loved bringing that little joy to them, so he kept his arm off. Ray is one of the more optimistic zomboys. He is somewhat at peace with his situation, though he wishes better lives for the others. He's never exactly been on lock's side so he definitely goes for the freedom side when given the chance. - Name: Beau Age: 12 Backstory: Beau was born in to the seemingly most ugly generation of this royal family and his parents were blessed when they saw how pretty he was. Beau's parents had a weird obsession with his looks and this caused young Beau to grow and hate his perfection. When the priests asked for a sacrifice, beau's parents refused to give up their precious son, until the priests convinced his father that Beau was an embarrassment and he should be ashamed to call Beau his son. Beau's father was very selfish and dreaded the idea if his image being ruined, so when beau's mother was distracted, he brought Beau out to the swamp and choked him. Beau's lifeless body was left out in the freezing cold for 3 days before the priests sacrificed him, causing his body to freeze over and go blue. Even in death, beau's while body is still blue and bruised, though still beautiful. Actually that's how he got his name. Ironically Beau is now in love with how pretty he is and named himself Beau after his looks. Because of his death, having been choked and frozen alive, beau's body will go out every once in a while, causing him to suddenly flop down and stay paralyzed for a few hours. The other boys are used to it by now and tend to his body while he's out. Beau jumped at the chance to join mist, claiming he was too beautiful to be kept away and needed freedom. - Name: Chicken Age: 10 Backstory: Chicken was the youngest son of the royal family at the time and when the priests asked for a sacrifice no one expected him to step up and offer himself. Of course little Chicken had no idea what was going on but he happily agreed to go with those creepy looking men. When the time came to kill him, it suddenly dawned on Chicken that he wasn't going to live, so he tried to run. Sadly the priests had learnt their lesson with lock and when Chicken showed even slight signs of struggle they gave a messy blow at his neck and chopped off his head. In death chicken's head stayed on for about 2 hours before rolling off. To the others delight, chicken's head and body stayed alive separately, like a chicken, hence his name. Being one of the first to die, Chicken was considered an og and lock recruited him into his "kings court" because every king needs a jester. Chicken grew to fear lock, so when Most first starts his while freedom group thing, Chicken rejects his invite and even teases some of the boys when the accept it, but as time goes on and his wish for freedom grows stronger than his fears, he eventually joins mist. - Extras: Ray and Chicken are older whilst Beau died more recently
