The former owners of Ianus' original grafted cores: Kalth of [Carve]: Somewhat of a father figure to Ianus(not their actual father, despite their related cores). An even tempered and patient individual, they taught Ianus woodcarving, which is a hobby of theirs to this day. They were killed by Everwinder. Everwinder of [Tail]: An enormous serpent and powerful mage, with deep criminal connections in the Ivory Tower and a twinge of insanity. Ianus encountered them in their early days of working in the Gilded Guard. After Ianus helped to secure their arrest, Everwinder tailed Ianus to their home and attacked them, injuring Kalth, who died shortly thereafter, in the proccess.
