hey guys, what's up? i know i haven't shared anything for a while, but that's because i'm buried under a pile of work that i procrastinated doing until the last minute >.< i made some time to draw these four little entries for crow's dtiys though because i honestly love everything about the contest- the color palette is brilliant and was so fun to work with (i love blue and yellow/orange haha), and the character design is just too amazing, not to mention the cool vibe she gives off :o here's some more stuff about each drawing- + classic chill i don't have much to say about this lol it's just a simple headshot of her. i wanted to do the same exact pose that's in the original project, but i died at the hands so i cut them off :) + emotions sheet i'd just gotten a new sketchbook (yay) so i did some traditional expression sketches! these were so so fun and i learned a lot from doing this :D + coffee shop guitar okay this one took QUITE some time haha but i'm pretty proud of the finished piece. it was an experimental one too; i was trying different stuff with her clothes and hair (sort of), so there's that :) i got some inspo for the jacket from another entry i really loved (if it's yours and you happen to see this, please tell me and i'll credit you bc i somehow can't find your entry-). + skater girl promo ahh the last one!! it's the second page in my sketchbook :D i got some advice from my friend for this (like for the pose and stuff) but the art is completely drawn by me ofc :) this was another experiment with clothing, so i'll just tell you what she's wearing on the top since it's kind of hard to tell ahaha: it's a striped crop top (like in the original) and a varsity jacket draped over her shoulders- she's not wearing the jacket completely. and i just had to add in a baseball cap and some bubblegum. also i kind of failed when i drew the hands so um try not to look at that? alRIGht ahem this isn't really my favorite but the process was pretty enjoyable and i think that's all! there are some extra stuff in the second sprite too, so go look there if you're interested :) until next time- ♫ sunkissed by khai dreams with rain because aesthetic - okay, so you know how they're all in different art styles? yeahh let's not talk about that-
