Let’s get started. *Pulls down projector screen* As always, we’re going to need a ruler. Since @SuperScratchMaker001 added himself in a remix, we’ll use his OC. Yellow Mario is the exact height of normal Mario who we already have a canon height for of 5’ 1”, or 61”. In the project Yellow Mario is 176 pixels tall, so we can divide 61 by 176 to get 0.346590 with an infinitely repeating 90 at the end. Let’s just round that up to 0.35, shall we? So, since every pixel is 0.35 inches on all sides, we can use this ruler to find the size of the ice cream. Turns out the only ice cream there is is on top of the cone, no ice cream is inside of it. What a ripoff. Anyway, the ice cream by itself is 77 pixels tall. 77 times our 0.35 inch ruler gets us a height of 26.95 inches. The ice cream is also 99 pixels wide, so 99 times 0.35 gets us a width of roughly 34.65 inches. I don’t want to shove too many equations in your face, so I’m going to assume that the ice cream is a hemisphere. The formula to find the volume of a hemisphere is (2/3)πr cubed. Since the width of the ice cream is equal to the radius, we can put that into the equation. (And yes, I know that I said no more equations, but this is a lot less than what you would have gotten.) Using 3.14 for pi, the equation is (2/3) • 3.14 • 34.65 inches cubed, which gives us a volume of 87,085.95242 cubic inches. Again, to keep things simple I’m going to assume that the ice cream has the average density of 1.096 kg/L. Since I haven’t actually learned how to calculate this yet I ran the numbers through a mass calculator, which gives us a final mass of 1564.08305 kg. For you people that use the Imperial system, that is 3,448.21288 pounds. That’s literally more than a TON of ice cream. *Pushes screen up* BUT HEY, THAT’S JUST A THEORY, A SCRATCH THEORY! Thanks for reading. Ok, I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t like ice cream. Or cake. Or cupcakes. Or pie. Or any cookies unless they’re chocolate chip or snickerdoodles. Actually, I do like pie dough, so I guess I technically like pie? Sorry, rant over. Oh wait, you’re still here? There’s really so many better things you can be doing than listening (watching? reading?) to me talking to myself. Like going outside maybe. The birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming. On days like these, kids like you should be… Well actually I probably don’t know you, so I don’t know what a kid like you should be doing on a day like this. I don’t even know if you’re a kid!
Hello internet, aaaaand welcome to Scratch Theory! So I was looking around for something to theorize about, when I found @RemoteBFB’s project “AY Fighting for the last ice cream”. I noticed something in the project, the ice cream is larger than almost everyone fighting for it! Today I’m going to find out just how big the last ice cream is.
