VERSION 2.2: - Cookies if you love and favourite - World record variable - Decreased event blocks for less lag - VERY simplified thumbnail (check out the remixes, and that thumbnail is what it used to be.) VERSION 2.2.1: - The music for the game has finally been changed - Managed to secure some help from a few friends from mine who are new to Scratch, we're all trying to find out how to get my autoclicker to work. VERSION 2.2.2: - Secured some help with a different anonymous Scratch user who has been on Scratch for two months (a newbie like me), working on the autoclicker - Added levels to the game VERSION 2.2.3: - OH MY GOD AFTER 20 MONTHS I FINALLY GOT THE AUTOCLICKER TO WORK LMAOOO - Levels aren't working D: - Easter egg, the Upgrade button changed from green to blue, as where I live, Australia, it just became winter :) VERSION 2.2.4: - The Scratch user that was helping me went on holidays - Friends are promoting my mouse trail game (I DIDN'T TELL THEM TO I SWEAR) - Using Canva to get the best thumbnail (sorry there wasn't much for 2.2.4) VERSION 2.2.5: - New thumbnail, as promised :) - Decided that mouse trail will not be added to this update and will come out somewhere between 2.4 - 2.7 VERSION 2.2.6: - Friends told me that the 2.2.5 thumbnail is kinda trash so I changed it to something better - Seems like 2.2.6 thumbnail is working, just hit 40 views :) - Planning on fixing levels in 2.2.9, currently still working on it, it might start working in 2.2.7, who knows? VERSION 2.2.7: - Nope, levels have not been fixed - Music changed again, but this time it's not from Scratch so I think it'll stay for a while (finally) Instructions: just... click the button forreal When I was new to Scratch, looking through one of those 'add everything' studios, I saw a game called Button Pressing Simulator. It was very new, and it was extremely buggy, and in the instructions it said remixes are not allowed. So I decided to create my own - and it turned out to be this! Except my game is also extremely buggy... This was the studio I found the project in: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/190841/ Fun fact: On average, from 1.1 - 1.6, the average time between updates was around four weeks. But the switch from 1.9 - 2.0 took three months, which is the most time it has ever taken! 2.1 - 2.2 took two months, and the switch from 2.2 - 2.3 will be the longest and will stay the longest for quite a while, as it was on the 24th of September 2021! Version 2.3 is expected to come somewhere between November and December So it's expected to be more than a full one year gap between 2.2 and 2.3! Now, what could be taking so long? You may have seen a project that I made where I was asking for help on my mouse trail, and in the project I showcased it. It was extremely buggy, and it still has around two views at the time of writing this. I've been trying to get my mouse trail to work, while also trying to get the autoclicker to work by seeing other button pressing simulators throughout Scratch, and it actually works! In the 2.2.3 update, I finally got it to work! I released the autoclicker update as fast as I could since it had taken so long. The mouse trail is still buggy, but I've done some significant progress. I think that in 3 or 4 weeks I should be able to get it to work. I'm also thinking up of new thumbnails for the games, like the ones you would typically expect from a front-page game. So, in short, these are the three main things 2.3 will feature: - Working autoclicker (already implemented in 2.2.3) - Mouse trail - Better thumbnail Obviously, I haven't put everything here, since I don't want to spoil absolutely everything, but I just wanted to put out what I wanted to do for 2.3. Here is when the major updates for 2.3 are scheduled to release (not guaranteed): - Working autoclicker: 2.2.3, May 1st - May 15 (released on May 2nd) - New thumbnail: 2.2.5, June 1st - June 15 (released on June 1st) - Mouse trail: 2.3 full update, February 1st 2023 - March 1st 2023 (update was postponed due to a trip to India) Previously known as Button Pressing Simulator (40 views hehe thanks :D)
