here have a backstory *shoves down throat* --------- Applekit peaked over the top of her nest that she shared with her mother, Creamfrost. Applekit watched for any signs of Burningkit and his gang. When she didn't see anybody, she leaped over the top of the nest and started padding to the entrance of the nursery. "Hey! Where are you going?" Applekit froze in her paw steps, and slowly turned around to find Burningkit stareing at her, his littermates close behind. Firekit, his sister, took a step closer. "He said where are you going. Now your going to answer or we'll make you!" Applekit was trembleing and she replied shakily, "I-I was j-just going outside-" Smolderingkit hissed. "Going outside, eh? I belive the punishment for that is a bloody nose." He step closer, his tiny claws showing. They may be tiny, but they were sharp. Burningkit stopped him with his tail before he could do anything else. "Nah, we did that last time. Let's do something diffirent." Firekit steped closer to Burningkit, their pelts brushing together. "Like what, Burningkit?" They intwined their tails and Burningkit responded, "How about shredded ears?" Applekit watched in horror as they backed her up against the nursery wall. Just when she thought she was done for, theeth closed around her scruff, and she was plucked into the air and caried back to her nest. "I suggest ya'll kits go play your games else where. It's time for Applekit's nap." Applekit reconized the voice of her mother, and looked over the rim of the nest to see Creamfrost standing in front of her. Burningkit scoffed. "Fine. But we'll 'play' together tomorrow." Applekit and Creamfrost watched as they left the nursery. Even though she had been saved, fear still pricked at her pelt as she thought of what 'play' meant. Creamfrost turned and padded into the nest and layed down. "So," She began, looking at Applekit and wrapping her tail around her, "Wanna tell what game ya'll were gonna play this time?" Applekit hadn't told her mother yet about the bullying instead she always told her that they had been playing to rough or she had accidently got pricked by a thorn. But now that they had scared her to hard, everything came bubbleing up. "T-they bully me, moma! We don't play games like mossball, they hurt and scratch me! T-they were gonna shred my ears moma... they were gonna... they were gonna.." Tears poured down her cheeks as she struggled for words. Creamfrost pulled her closer to her belly. "Shhh, baby kit. They're gone now." Applekit snuggled deeper into her mothers fur, still crying. "B-but they'll be back, and they'll hurt me again." Creamfrost sighed. "Well, do ya want to tell me why they bully you?" Applekit, still shaking, told her quietly, "They know I'm a half-Clan, moma." Applekit's father had been a WindClan warrior, but had left with the other Clans when she was just a week old, despite her mothers begging to stay with them. "A-and they call me long legs, and... and that I'm not special... a-and..." Creamfrost looked suprised. "Why would they call you not special? You are special. Whether they see it or not." Applekit whipped her tears away from her eyes. "How do y'know?" She asked looking puzzled. "Because yer my daughter, and any daughter of mine is special." Creamfrost smiled warmly at Applekit. She had never felt like she belonged in a Clan and had thought everyone else thought the same thing because they knew she was half-clan. "Really, moma? How special am I?" Creamfrost licked her forehead. "So special that maybe one day you could lead this Clan to astounding hights! And those baby kits that ere bullying you? They'll have to bask in your glory as you prove em wrong." Applekit smiled at this. She imagened Burningkit, Firekit and Smolderingkit obeying her as she led ThunderClan become great, and they would apolojize for their behavior as kits, and she would fogive them because she wasn't like them. And she imagened Creamfrost, watching her proudly with a smile on her face. "I think I like that." Applekit's eyes were getting droopy and she curled up beside her mother. "And you'll be there to, right? Helping me each step of they way?" Creamfrost's smile disapered for a heartbeat but returned again. "Sure, dear. I'll be there." "Promise?" "Promise." ----------
