This is the benchmark lesson of a flipped classroom of first year Scratchers. This is the 3rd lesson. Students learn about events, commands, & sequence through a Nearpod lesson. During this benchmark lesson, the teacher will review the blocks of code in the sequence of the fox that are commands and the ones that are events. Then, the teacher will show how the order of the foxes blocks are very important. The order of blocks is known as a sequence. Then, the teacher will read over the instructions for the bear. The students will be sent out in pair programming pairs or trios to try to solve the bear's code. One student will be the driver. They will share their screen with this project and move the blocks. The other students in the break out room are the navigators. They will tell the driver what to do. When students come back to the main room the teacher will show the correct order of the code and answer students questions about the order.
