Heyo! I've mentioned I have a few human/humanoid characters before so I decided to introduce a couple of them. Please don't judge the art too harshly as I'm nervous posting my human art as it. 1. Keshin "Keesh'. He's somewhere between 5'9'' and 6'1''. He's a college student that just wants to be left alone. He's working towards a photography degree and wants to pursue photography full time. His idea of a good time is reading a good book under a tree. He lives in an apartment not far from his campus with a roommate(that he may or may not be romantically interested in*wink*). He can be clingy at times, mostly towards his roomate. 2. Lloyd This is Keesh's roommate. He's 5'2'' and a college dropout. He only dropped out as he was having both financial and family problems that took #1 priority. He's the neighborhood Mr. Fix-it for all things electronic. Keesh has tried to convince him to go back to school now that everything's been taken care of. Unknown to Keshin, he has been taking online classes at night for four months now. He hasn't talked to Keesh about it as he knows Keesh will make a big deal out of it and try to throw him a party to congradulate him, he likes his peace and quiet. Spends most of his time sitting at his computer, curled up with a blanket. Owns no formal clothes, none that still fit anyways. His idea of a good day is Keesh shutting up and leaving him to his work. He hates shopping and loves anything horror. He wear eyeliner, but only on his top lids as his hands get to shaky by the time he gets to the bottom lids, he gets frustrated and gives up. 3. And the new kid on the block, Kole! Kole is an introverted edgelord with a cute snake. He owns nothing that is not black, red, and/or white. Except for his albino Burmese Python, Buttercup. Kole has several peicings including a handle bar through his left ear and snakebites on his lower lip. He paints his nails, usually black but switching it up with the occasional red. He's an introvert that likes to stick to himself, but gets flustered easily. He's a college friend of Keesh's, pursuing a fine arts degree in either 3D modeling or an illustration. He plans on drawing and publishing his own comic book. He has a decent sized following on his social medias for his art, fashion and food content. He's also a decent cook, his grandmother telling him everything he knows. He also inherited her highly coveted recipe book. 4. Zachary Burks. A college friend of Keeshin and Kole. A loveable, kind of dull, ray of sunshine who is either dressed in hoodie+sweats or borderline cosplay, no in-between. He famous online for his videogame playthroughs and streams. He tries to drag Kesh and Kole to play with him, but they rarely indulge him. He's just the extrovert that holds the introverts together. He's aiming to become a video game designer+developer to bring to life a concept he's had for YEARS. Like this man has whole sketchbooks dedicated to this concept. He's been set on that dream since 5th grade and the passion is just as strong as it was then. Despite not being avid gamers, Keeshin and Kole have degreed to help him beta test and help in any other way they can, even if it means being gophers to get him caffeine when he decides to pull late nights. 5. Julia. Julia is head of the math team/club and is expected to graduate as valvectorian. She meets the squad after she is assigned to tutor Zachary, and after a few sessions he convinces her to hang out with them. They lovingly call her 'Ms. Julia' which freaked her out at first as she's in the same year as they are, but she's used to it now. She's the mom of the group and really the only competent one. Most people think Zachary and Julia are together, but Julia keeps mentioning a 'myseterious girlfriend'. She's very introverted and getting her to say more than five words in a conversation is a constant battle. She will GUSH about a topic nonstop if you bring up one she's REALLY invested in though. Secretly a gamer. 6. Tracy Cada! Julia's jock 'mysterious girlfriend'. She's head of the girls volleyball team and a HUGE geek at heart. She's a BIT dense, but loyal to a fault. The only reason she's not announced her relationship with Julia to the world is because she's respecting Julia's wishes to keep it on the down low. Their friend group is wholesome and I LOVE THEM SO FREAKIN MUCH! In terms of friendships, they are GOALS. Additional Facts: -Lloyd goes by he/him, but is also trying out they/them -Lloyd's design was based off of a hairstyle-swap challenge(if you could tell who was who even if their hairstyles were swapped) in one of the MHA mangas. Specifially Iida Tenya with the hair of Yagi Toshinori/Normal Form!All Might -Keesh was the first one to be designed, he started off as a doodle I made while my fam+I's new home was getting the cable hooked up. Instead of wearing masks, me and my grandma sat on the back porch. -Kole was meant as
Internal relationships: -Keeshin+Lloyd - They've only known eachother for a year or two now and only met when Lloyd put up an advertisement for a roommate after he couldn't pay for the rent alone. Keeshin found the listing and applied because it was in his price range and close to his college's campus. Lloyd didn't know he'd end up with a huge loveable, clingy dork of a roomate. Keesh, upon finding out Lloyd went to the same college Keesh is currently attending but dropped out due to family-realted problems that he had no control over, has been trying to convince him to go back and finish. Unknown to Keesh, he's been taking online classes for months now and on his way to finishing the degree. They eventually end up dating a few years down the line. -Kole+Zachary - They actually met when Zachary asked Kole for his opinion on a character design in their shared art class. At first Kole made little effort to actualy talk to Zach as they were assigned to a group project. Zach, being the natually clunky person he is, accidentally knocked over his coffee onto Kole's sketchbook. In a desperate attempt to apologize, he showed up next class with a replacement coffee(he read Kole's order when he went to throw away the cup and clean up the mess). Their relationship improved from there, but Kole still held a grudge. Kole obviously had a crush on Zach, well obvious to everyone EXCEPT Zach, not being able to hold back a blush when Zach got into his personal space. Zach had a girlfriend at the time, and while he liked her, he fell out and broke up with her. They ended on good terms, fyi and he still loves her as a sister. A few months later he began getting the tell-tale signs of a crush. After a few days of looking back on who those feelings could be for, he came to the conclusion of Kole. He immeditaly went to tell his fam, and to say it didn't end well would be an understatement. It was only when Kole invited Zach over for the Christmas holiday after learning Zach wouldn't be going home for the holidays and refusing to let him stay at the dorms that Kole dragged Zachary home with him. Zach fell HEAD OVER HEELS for Buttercup as soon as he laid eyes on her. Cue classic 'Two people, one bed' with Kole contantly thinking 'I'm too gay for this' and Zachary trying to act 'normal'. Zach, not knowing Kole well enough to know what to get him and an akward trip to the store with Kole's younger sister he finally had a present for Kole. Kole's sister also infodumped a bunch of information on Zach that ended up with Zach seeing Kole in a new light. -Julia+Zachary The top-scorer is hired to tutor the dense blonde in an effort to socialize more while doing what she's good at: Math! -Julia+Tracy While tutoring one dense blonde, she secretly dates another dense blonde... -Julia+Lloyd, the parents of the squad and the only two having anything that even resembles braincells. I just realized Kole+Zach are basically Dirty Laundary and I'm not sure how I feel about that..... All I can say is: 'Abuela is coming' and 'Dame Mas Gasolina'. If you get it, you /get it/.
