(DEATH) At the age of 19, Kellan moved to a small, coastal town called in order to escape the old, toxic life he lived. He had hoped to be at peace and away from everyone, but there was a lurking sense of unease around the area. A sheer two weeks after his arrival, though, Kellan caught wind of a terrible accident that had happened at the edge of the coastline. Apparently, one of the town’s residents had ominously jumped off of a short cliff into the rocks below. There was no inclination that the person had ever intended to do so, but there was nothing but their car at the scene. Nervous, Kellan proceeded with caution. He worked a retail job at a mall about an hour away, so he didn’t usually have tabs on what was going on during the day where he lived. But rent was cheap, and he didn’t make enough money to live in anything bigger, so until he found some sort of roommate, he’d have to make do. Meanwhile, Kellan met a lass called Emmy through work. After discovering she worked in the food court, he intentionally went there often during breaks. He had grown a crush on her, and decidedly asked her out once they were on decent terms. While on this date, Kellan overheard a conversation between two men behind him. Seven people had gone missing and three had died in the three years, not including the recent one. Horrified, he mindlessly went through with the rest of the date, unable to really hide his uncomfortableness. As he drove her home, he asked her if she knew what the history was of the town he lived in. According to Emmy, it had been haunted since the days it had been the host of a large shipbuilding company, decades ago. The company fell to a terrible reputation after the boats that were manufactured there continued to disappear and never return, costing the company millions as people, money, and trade items vanished. She noted she used to live there when she was around thirteen, but once her dad had received word of the story, she had moved. Kellan was able to verify all of this was true, but he anxiously continued to pay rent. However so, he still did want to know what had happened to the town, and why all that had happened. Was it just unluckiness? Was it a curse? He found his answer one night with a knock against the door. It was his neighbour, who appeared very stressed. “I’ve never formally introduced myself,” he breathed, “but my name is Seth. You haven’t received a visit from anyone tonight, have you?” “No,” Kellan replied. “Only you. Why? What’s going on?” Seth revealed that the town was supposedly haunted by a ghost. The ghost was a native who’s tribe of origin had been executed in the town during a conquest. He had lived alongside the conquerors until they accused him of theft. His spirit survived as a spirit of anger, and in that first year of his death alone, he had lost at sea over twenty of their trade ships. Since there was no trade or shipbuilding any longer, the spirit resided to simple murder. “Can’t we do anything about it?” Kellan asked. Seth shrugged. “People have tried. But how do you get rid of an ancient spirit?” Kellan decided he’d try to figure out the mystery with knowledge he could gain from both Seth and Emmy, and the three now work together to put the pieces of the past together. - - ☁ Credits: > Art: > Design: - - ☁ Music: > Frozen Wonderland (Eternal Winter) by Yoko Shimomura > Master of Masters by Yoko Shimomura - - ☁ Recommended: > My toyhouse: https://toyhou.se/-iinkwiinqs- - - ☁
