1. The first image was the first digital drawing I ever made, circa 2016. The colors are awful, not sure why the outline of the tail is green, and the handwriting is messy. 2. Another attempt made a bit later that year. Edgy Warriors fanart. I'm not sure what is the worst thing here-the line tool eyes and text, the hot pink soap coming out of her mouth, the emo hair, the disproportionate ears, the bad eye placement, or the super shaky lines. Ew. 3. Art of a roasted marshmallow. Same issues as the others-bad coloring and lineart, and the tools I used for the smoke and fire are awful. The stars look more like polka dots. 4. Art of my fursona from about 18 months ago! I was proud of it at the time, and it was a huge milestone for me because it was my first successful art of her. The coloring and spots are messy, the pose is strange, the legs are positioned incorrectly, and the antlers have no lineart because I was scared to draw them. The lines are still shaky, and the scarf colors don't really stand out. 5. Art done about a month ago. The coloring is bad and the neck fur and ears look weird. Not my best work and it was very rushed. 6. Shortly after I drew #5, I began taking requests. This is one of them. The paw was messed up, and the coloring on the wings is hideous. I do like how the ears and markings turned out. The hind leg anatomy is weird. However, this was another milestone for me because I got several more requests after it. I did some more requests that aren't worth posting, then moved on to selling my art. 7. A character I have for sale. I like his colors, but I didn't clean up the coloring when I was done, the legs need work, it's kind of boring, and the wings are not that great. I also should have done more research on avian skulls before drawing him. I really like his design and personality, and if he doesn't sell soon I might steal him for myself. 8. Revamped fursona. I like her new design, but I'm still not very good at drawing spots or stripes. Her head shape is also pretty funky. I finally managed to draw her antlers, though, and I sorted out what her legs should look like. I still have issues with making the legs and toes consistent lengths/thicknesses. 9. An anthro cow I drew recently. I kind of like how he turned out, but the pose and anatomy still needs work. The first anthro I've ever drawn that I liked. 10. My first commission! I loved drawing this character and I learned some new techniques for anatomy and sketches. I like how he turned out, but I messed up on the facial markings and his eyes need work. I also wish I had given him a bit more neck and a more accurate back shape. The tail looks a bit stiff and I'm not a big fan of how the claws look. 11. I also received a commission for a headshot of him! This one was super fun to do and I think it turned out okay. The markings showed up better on the headshot and are more accurate. Not a huge fan of how the eye and the spikes turned out. 12. Drew this recently as a request! The pose is a bit stiff, the head is too smol, and the tail is too thicc. The wings are sloppy. 13. Drawn 12/14/20-contest entry. I messed up on the lightning, legs, and neck, but it's definitely a huge improvement from the anthro cow! I've been playing around with dynamic anatomy and using it a lot more in my art. The left eye is a bit off looking and it definitely needs some shading. 14. Dinosaur thing contest entry. I like the pose, but I don't like how the lineart and flames turned out. It also needs a bit more expression, it looks like it's dead inside. 15. Warm up doodle of an OC. Never finishing it. 16. A friend's RainWing OC with a background. My first time drawing scenery in a while. I don't really like how the rocks and snake turned out, and I forgot to add leaves to the trees. The wing coloring also got messed up and I didn't notice until it was too late to fix it. One of my best drawings so far, and it got featured somewhere :) 17. Ignore this. I tried to draw in Scratch and failed. 18. Experimenting with colored lineart (and failing). It's a Terrarian wyvern. I don't like how the lineart, pose, and face shape turned out and I'll hopefully improve with those things. 19. A set of custom emojis made with WoF OCs. I like how 1, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10 turned out. I made these using the style I've started using for emojis, which is basically a more simple version of my style that allows me to draw a lot of emojis quickly without getting bored or losing motivation. They also show up better when they're small. I don't really like how , 2, 3, 8, and 12 turned out. 20. SeaWing/SilkWing adoptable I made. She has been claimed by someone. Her name is Pondhawk. It's a bit messy since I didn't clean up the lineart. 21. Art of one of my WoF OCs, Axolotl! She's a SeaWing with leucism and was super fun to make and draw. This was my first time doing lineless art. Continued in notes.
22. Ignore, I accidentally deleted the image on the sprite and can't scroll down to delete the costume. 23. HiveWing desgin 24. My SandWing boi Mirage, he's my favorite WoF OC. He's a fabulous criminal and I love him. 25. An anthro I actually completed. Her name is Lllith and she's a demon chimera thing. 26. I drew several cats and my cat anatomy has improved A LOT. Mostly warrior cat redesigns and the dark tabby is my Warriors villain OC, Chester. I improved a lot over the past few years, but I still have a very long way to go. Remember, keep practicing! Improvement doesn't happen instantly, and it won't happen at all unless you keep trying. Most of these characters belong to me, but some belong to Creative Commons or other people. Wings of Fire is owned by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. All art is by me.
